Chapter 22

Hardin's POV

Her lips feel like heaven. Her hand is going up from my neck to my hair and she starts to play with my hair. I fell over her and I'm confused and happy in the same time. She wants me, but we can't do this here and now.

"Tess... We can't!"

"Shh... Shut up and kiss me."

"Tessa... I want you as much as you want me, but we can't do this here and now. It's just the adrenaline after what happened in your office."

"Hardin! Just kiss me!"

She starts to kiss me again and I love how our lips are feeling together. Fuck! I'm falling for this girl. After a few minutes she stops and I look at her swollen lips. She's so beautiful and i want something with her, but I know she's not ready for this...

"We have to work." She says smiling.

"Yes, we have work to do. See you at lunch? This time it's your time to order."

"Yes. See you then." She smiles at me and I leave.

Shit. This girl wants to drive me insane. And I will let her to do this with me. I really like her. I enter in my room and I sit at my desk. I open my mails and I read some books for work. While I work, I'm thinking about that beautiful girl which is at a few meters away from me. I have no idea what she's doing to me, but I kinda like it. I smile as a teenager when I'm thinking about her. I'm interrupted from my thoughts by a knock at my door. Oh, shit. I have no idea when time passed.

"Come in." I stay up and I instantly smile when I see her beautiful face. I am really falling for this girl.

"It's time for our lunch break, Hardin. The food is here. Let's eat."

"What did you order?" I stand up and we go out from my room.

"You will see." She takes my hand and she drags me to the kitchen.

"Indian food. I like it." I drag her to me and I kiss her.

"Hardiiiiin... we have to eat and then we can go back to work."

"Ok, ok. But after work, you owe me."

"We will see." She giggles and we start to eat.

"It was delicious."

"I know. I love this restaurant."

"As it's Friday, wanna come with me and my friends out?"

"I'm sorry, but I'll stay at home. Don't be mad, ok? Next time." I am mad, but I won't insist.

"It's ok, don't worry."

I help her to clean the table and then we go back to work. After another four hours I decide to stop because in two hours I have to leave. I don't want to go out without her, but it's Tyler's birthday and I can't miss this.

"Tess?" I enter in her room without knocking. I'm an asshole, I know. She's talking at her phone. I wait until she ends the call.

"You're done with your work?"

"Yes. And I came here for something..."

"What do you need?" She turns to me.

"You? Some of your kisses." I smirk and she smiles.

"Mister Scott, what are we?"

"Friends? With benefits." Asshole! Her smile disappears and I know I fucked up again.

"Get out of my room. Now!"

"Tess... I didn't mean this... I'm sorry."

"Get out! Now!" Her face is red and I can see tears in her eyes.

"Tess, I'm sorry..."

"Get the fuck out of my room!" She pushes me outside and she locks the door of her room.

Fuck! I'm the biggest asshole in this world? I destroyed this girl. I knew I'm not good for her. Fuck, you are just a heart breaker, Hardin Scott. You really enjoy to break hearts.
