"You've lied to me..."

"What? How? I didn't lie you, baby. I never could do this. Who told you this?"

"It doesn't matter, Hardin."

"Tess, tell me what the fuck happened. Who told you that I'm lying?"

"Camilla. She said you were in Portland last month and you two had fun. She said that you and her had a lot of sex and..."

"And enough! You still believe her? She's a big liar. Yes, I was in Richland a few weeks ago, but I haven't seen her, ok? You can ask Molly or Zed or Alex. She not even was there, Tess. You are the only person I love in this big fucked world. I couldn't do something to hurt you. So, let Camilla's bullshit and believe me. I thought we finally made this relationship to work. Believe me, baby. I can call Molly right now and she will tell you the truth."

"Call her."

"You are unbelievable!" He takes his phone and call Molly.

Phone call

"Hi, Molly. Sorry if I wake you up..."

"Oh, it's ok. I just arrive at home. What's up?"

"Can you please tell Tessa what happened a few weeks ago in Richland? Can you explain her that I stayed with you and Zed all weekend and Camilla wasn't there? She told Tessa that I was with her, but Camilla wasn't in Richland then."

"Woah, easy boy. I need and explanation. You and Tessa again?"

"Yeah... But this is not important now, we'll talk about this next time, ok? So, can you explain her?"

"Sure! Give the phone to her."

"Talk!" He gives me his phone and he seems nervous.

"Hi Molly."

"Hey Tessa!"

"Sorry if Hardin bothered you..."

"It's ok, don't worry. So... He was a few weeks ago in Richland, it's true. He stayed at Zed's apartment and we went in a club. But Camilla wasn't there. She was in Europe with her family. So, don't believe what that bitch says. Hardin is just yours. Why are you so stressed about this? He only loves you, Tessa. I just know this. He is going crazy when someone talks about you. So, don't worry, Hardin is faithful."

"Thank you, Molly... It is as if a weight has been lifted from my heart."

"You're welcome. Bye, bye." I end the call with Molly and I hand back the phone to Hardin. I'm so embarrassed right now because I didn't believe him...

"No are you trust me?" He says while he wipes my tears.

"I'm sorry..." I look down and he lifts up my chin.

"You don't have a reason to be jealous because I would never cheat on you, Tess."

"I was stupid..."

"Yes, you were." He smiles. "But now everything is good and you don't have any doubts, right?"

"Right. I love you Hardin. I don't know how I would survive if I could lose you again." I look deep into his eyes.

"And I love you, baby. Me neither." He hugs me. What about some peace sex?" He smirks?

"No. I just want to cuddle with you until we fall asleep. I'm tired..."

"Good. I can cuddle with you all my life." He kisses my forehead and I smile.

We lay on the bed and he takes me in his arms and we cuddle. Now that I know the truth, I finally can sleep peaceful. I really don't know what will happen with us in the future, but I hope we will be together for the rest of our life.

When I wake you, I check Hardin's bed part, but it's empty and cold. Where is he? I get up and I look in the room for his. He is not here. And I don't hear a sound from the bathroom. So, he's gone? I look on his pillow and I find a note.

"Good morning, beautiful. I know you are asking why I'm not with you, but I have to say that I have something to do in town. I will be at the hotel as soon as possible. I love you.

Yours, Hardin."

What? Where is he? What he has to do in town?! What if... what if he is with Camilla? No! No, no! He is not with her, he is not cheating on you. If we want relationship to work, we have to trust each other. But... what he has to do in Los Angeles? Tessa, Hardin loves you and he is not with a girl.
