Tessa's POV

Message between Hardin and Tessa

T: Look who is here <3

H: My baby brother... Did you go to see him?

T: Yes. He's adorable and he is looking exactly like you.

H: I don't think so. How did you sleep?

T: Good, why?

H: Because I didn't sleep well last night...

T: Why not?

H: Because you are not here.

T: Oh...

H: Are you moving to New York?

T: I am still thinking about this, Scott.

H: I want you here, Young.

T: I have to leave, your little brother needs my attention.

H: And me?

T: Have a nice day, Scott! 😊

Two days later...

I just arrive at work when my phone started to ring. It's Hardin... What he wants this time?

Phone call

"Hello baby."

"Hi."

"What are you doing?"

"I just arrived at work, you?"

"I'm kinda busy. But I wanted to know what are you doing."

"I am fine, thanks."

"I can't wait to see you."

"You, what are you doing?"

"Well... I'm just picking my suit for the wedding."

"Nice. Can we talk later? I have to work."

"Of course. I love you."

"I love you."

I end the call with Hardin and I start to work. After like an hour, I hear a knock at my door. It's Trevor. What he wants?

"May I come in?"

"You entered in my office already." I roll my eyes and I try to focus on my work.

"I'm sorry for bothering you. But I wanted to know if you want to have lunch with me today?"

"Lunch? Sounds good."

"See you in two hours?"

"Good."

"See you later, Tessa."

Trevor leaves and I start to read my work again. When I'm done with the book, I hear a knock at the door again. Jesus, this guy is so polite!

"Come in! You don't have to knock at my door every time."

"Even if I bother you?"

"Hardin, hey!" I say with a big smile on my face while I stand up. "What are you doing here?"

"Surprise." He smiles at me and I hug him.

"I've missed you, Hardin. Even if I saw you three days ago." I giggle.

"I can say the same."

"What are you doing here?"

"You are not happy to see me?" He moves his hands down to my back.
