Chapter 31

Tessa's POV

A few weeks later...

It's been almost two months since we are in Vancouver and I think it's time to go back in Seattle. In just 2 weeks I will start my last year of university and it's the right time to go back.

"Hardin?" I say while I'm playing with his hair.

"Yes?"

"I think it's time to go back in Seattle."

"Are you sure you want this? They didn't catch Noah, yet. I want you to be safe."

"I am feeling safe around you, Hardin."

"Good to hear this." He smiles. "Then we should go announce dad, right?"

"Yes. We can announce him at dinner, in 30 minutes."

"Perfect."

After 30 minutes, we go downstairs for dinner. Kim prepared chicken breast with smashed potato.

"Dad?"

"Yes, Hardin?"

"I think it's time to go back in Seattle."

"Well... Go on. I'm not keeping you here with force." He laughs.

"No, I mean, all of us."

"But Tessa, what do you think about this?"

"Actually, I came with this..."

"But are you sure you want to go back there?"

"Yes. It was good to stay here with you, but I think it's time to go to our lives. I already miss my friends and my mom... In addition, when Hardin is with my, I feel safe. So, if Noah has a plan, I'm ready for the worst..."

"Ok, how you wish. Then we're going back in Seattle. We're leaving tomorrow."

After we eat, me and Hardin went to my room to pack my things. He smirks when he sees my lingerie.

"I can't wait to see you wearing that lingerie."

"I thought you will wait."

"And I will. I just said I can't wait to see you dressed like this. I didn't say when."

"Ok, ok."

After I pack my things, we go in Hardin's room and I help him to pack. After we're done, we lay on his bed and we fall asleep.

The next day

We woke up this morning at 9 a.m., after we had breakfast we went back to Seattle. After three hours we finally arrive in Seattle.

"The house it's safe. When we were in Seattle, two weeks ago, I installed some cameras and alarms and everything it's safe in the house."

"Thank you Christian. I really appreciate what you're doing for me."

"No problem."

"Are you hungry, guys?" Hardin asks us.

"Yes..."

"I'll order some pizza, ok?"

"Perfect. We're going to unpack our stuff. Call us when the food is here."

Christian says and then he and Kim leaves upstairs. Hardin call to make the order. After we eat, we go upstairs.

"I want to drink something..."

"I think it's not a good idea. I mean, I like when you are drunk... But you can do things that you may regret."

"Yeah, you are right. Can you bring me some orange juice? Please?"

"Yes. I will be right back."

"Oh... I think I'm coming with you. I'm afraid to stay alone."

"Ok, let's go." We go in the kitchen where Hardin take two glasses and he pours some juice in them.

"Can I ask you something?"

"Sure!"

"Can I sleep with you until they catch Noah? I'm afraid to sleep alone..."

"You don't have to ask me this, Tess."

"Thank you." I hug him tight. I am so grateful because I met a man like him.

"Now, what do you want to do?"

"Can we watch Friends?"

"Yes. But, first, I want to take a shower."

"Ok. Go take a shower while I will change my clothes and I'll wait you in your room."

"Perfect." He kisses me.

I go in my room and I change my clothes, after this I go in his room. I'm looking in his room when I'm interrupted by my phone.

Phone call

"Hello Theresa... Did you miss me? I'm watching you all the time. You can't get rid of me..."

"Noah?" I say scared.

"Exactly." He laughs like a devil. Fuck! How he found me?

"Leave me alone, Noah! What I did to you?" I say almost crying.

"Oh, let's see... You didn't want to fuck me a few years ago and then you stabbed me, after all I did for you, Theresa... Now, it's time to pay for what happened in the past. Prepare yourself for the worst. See you soon."

The connection interrupts and I throw away my phone. I lay on Hardin's bed and I start to cry. I'm so scared... I don't want him back in my life.
