Beep beep beep.

Jonah tosses and hits the alarm and turns it off. He slowly gets up and gets dressed. His mom is still sleeping and his dad is once again not home.

Grabbing a water bottle and his backpack, he leaves.

As he walks to school he hears someone calling his name.

"Jonah! Wait up!"

Its cyrus.

"Oh. Hey cy." He says with a flashy grin.

"I've got big news!" Cyrus says as he pulls out a slip of paper.

He hands me the paper. On it, it reads: 'Cyrus's 14 birthday party this saturday. Don't miss it!' Then it says his address.

"So?" The shorter boy asks.

"I'll be there! Sounds docious magocious."

"Great!"

We walk to school together.
