"What's wrong with him?" Buffy yells angrily. "We just spent two hours getting the perfect chips and he just shoves us out!"

"Buffy, buffy. Calm down. He has his reasons." Cyrus attempts to calm her down while andi rubs her shoulder.

Suddenly andi's phone goes off.

"Oh my god." Andi drops her Phone in excitement and shock. "Its max!"

"Oh god." Everyone laughs.

Max is the good hair crews friend that they thought moved to Canada. He was the nicest person. Andi, buffy and cyrus all knew him since second grade. However jonah and max do not get along.

At all.

The last time they talked they got in a huge argument.

~5 years back~

"Jonah this is max." Young andi says as she introduces max. "Max, this is jonah."

"Hey man." Jonah shakes his hand.

"Hey." Replies max. "So, you play frisbee?"

"Yeah I'm on the ultimate team."

"We should leave them alone." Buffy whispers to cyrus and andi. They smile and walk away to andi's shack.

"Cool man, cool." Max swiftly smiles.

"You?" Jonah asks as the boys sit on a sofa.

"Yeah I play as the team captain at a different middle school."

"Same!"

They talk for what seems like hours, then max drops the question.

"So, how long you knew andi?" The nine year old Canadian asks.

"Um. Like a year now. You?"

"Yeah cool. Me? Four years. She says a lot of stuff behind your back bro." Max whispers the last part.

Jonah starts to get angry. 'Why would he tell me that..' He thinks. But the only thing he can say is, "like what?"

"Well she says that you are like a fifty pound back pack on her shoulders. Oh wait she also says that she wishes you guys never met." Max lies.

"What the hell man!" Jonah stands up to talk to and but max stops him by placing a hand on his throat.

"No, you don't tell andi or you are dead meat. Got it?" He threatens.

"Yeah." Jonah holds back a tear as max let's go of his tight grip.

"So. How'd it go?" Buffy smiles as she runs in the room.

She notices jonah looking at them. His face pale as a ghost, eyes glossy, and a red mark on his neck.

"I'll go." He says as he leaves the room.

~present~

"Let's meet up with him! How about next month, since we have winter break next month." They all yell excitedly.

"Let's do it." Andi says as she texts max.

They forget about jonah...
