After his last period jonah tries to find andi. He looks around and finally finds her at her locker.

"Hey." He whispers to her with a smile.

She gets scared. Again. "Whoa!"

"So, how'd you like my present?" He says, laughing it off.

"It was great I really "wuvved" it." She awkwardly giggles.

"You can be honest. It was terrible." Jonah says as he knows she is lying.

"Well, the important thing is. Is that you thought of me and got me something." She says back, defeated.

"That was the wrong present. This." He pulls out a little yrllow box. "Is the right one."

"Another present?" She awkwardly says. She thinks this whole gift thing is weird.

"Yeah. But this one has your name on it." He says as she opens it.

She nearly cringed as she sees a grain of rice as a necklace with the name 'andy' on it. She gives him a questioning look.

"Its a piece of rice with your name on it. Well andi with a y. They didnt have your spelling."

Okay, now she cringed. "Well you got three out of four." She says jokingly.

She puts on the necklace.

"You look so cool!" Jonah smiles, trying to lighten the tense and awkward situation. "You can wear it with anything!"

"Hey! A piece of rice on a string the perfect accessory!" She
says sarcastically.

"I knew you would love it!" Jonah says as he puts the trash in his pants pocket.

"I do. But jonah?" She pauses as she sees his smile fade slightly. "You have to stop buying me presents."

His smile only lightens.

"Seriously." She sturnly says.

"Well-" He nervously says as he gets cut of by cyrus walking to them.

"Hey guys, whats new?" Cyrus says with a smile. "Oop, wait you have a bug on you." He smacks her necklace and steps on it.

Jonah just stands in awe.

"See tomorrow. I just wanted to say hi." Cyrus walks away.

"Wow, that just happened." Andi laughs it off.

"Hey, will you be my girl friend?" Jonah says. Wanting to just get to the point.

"Jonah. I'm sorry. Not now." Andi says as she takes his hand in hers. "I'm just overwhelmed by buffy. I'll tell you in a week. Okay?"

He nods as she slowly walks away with a smile.

He turns to walk out of school then it hits him.

He is having another panic attack.
