Never seeing him again

... or he thought he punched hard. Max got angry and punched Jonah even harder on the chest and on the face

"What did ya'll do?!" Andi screams when she sees Max with a slight bruise on his eye, and Jonah with an icepack on his chest and a bloody nose and lip, breathing heavily with tears in his eyes.

"What he did you mean? All i was doing was talking and then he punched me for no reason-" Max starts but is soon cut from from a panicky Jonah Beck.

"Stop lying! Andi, what happened was, he was-" He pauses to take a deep breathe and wipes his eyes. "-Strangling me and told me he liked you and said that if i told you he would do a lot worse..." Jonah explains it to her while trying to ignore the angry glares he was getting from Max.

Andi gasps and looks at Max. "Is true?" She angrily asks.

Max sighs amd just says, "Yes." Out of fusturation and giving up.

"Get out! Now!" She pushes him out the door.

"I'm sorry Andi, i ruined your day." Jonah sas out of shame and looks down. "It's all my fault."

"Jonah, listen." She puts a hand on his shoulder. "You did nothing wrong, okay. Thank you for telling me the truth. We're never seeing him again."

"Okay." He tries his best to smile but he groings from his lip.

"Lets get some medicine on your lip." She helps him up.

"Jonah! What happened?!" Jonah's mother asks when he enters his aunts house.

"Nothing i just fell. Don't worry." He lies and she nods.

Jonah cries himself to sleep that night.
