JASMINE
It's been a month since Hugh and I broke up, well I can't call that break up but it's really hurts. I thought he will fight for us after I told him I have someone but he didn't. I saw the pain in his eyes when I told him about my non-existing crush, I lied about it just to reduce the pain I was feeling in my heart when I saw Lyric kissing him.
And he didn't try to fight for me. Maybe his love is not strong enough but why does he look miserable since that day. I still tutor him and he behaves like he never had a thing for me and only concentrate on his studies and we never talked about what happened at the hospital.
After the lesson today I started packing my books and he started doing same but rather reluctantly, he has been very distance the whole day but I can't ask him what the problem is. I lifted up my bag and hang it at my back ready to go but his voice brought me to abrupt stop.
"Jasmine." He called again.
"Yes Hugh." I said.
"I miss you, it hasn't been easy without you." He said and I blushed knowing his feelings for me is still intact.
He stood up and walked to me and held my arm sending shiver through me and adrenaline rush all over my body. It's feels like it has always been when he touches me but I have missed you his touches, especially what happened at his parents place.
"Are you okay?" I asked with much concern.
"I am not okay but I will be, take care of yourself and see you tomorrow." He said.
"If you say so, see you later then." I said and walked out of the hall.
When I got to the hostel, I went straight to Audrey and Zoe's room. I am starving and I know by now they have made something for dinner, usually they make dinner at my place but I have run out of groceries. I bumped into the room without knocking and met them on the bed kissing each other.
"What the hell is going on here?" I gasped. They pulled away and covered their nakedness with the bedspread.
"How long has this been going?" I asked trying hard not to believe what I just saw, all my friends can't be into homosexuality.
"Jasmine it's not like what you are thinking?" Zoe tried to say.
"Answer my damn question, I thought we are friends." I screamed.
"Since we became friends, we didn't tell you because we were afraid you will judge us." Audrey said.
"Damn you Audy, damn you! You know I never judge anyone about what they like, you know I never judge anyone and you all saw how I treated Ashton, I love him without thinking about his sexual life." I lamented.
"We are sorry." Zoe said.
"Yes you are, I am going out of here, I need to clear my mind." I said and walked out and ran to my room.
I returned to the hostel back from the gym and to meet the two girls in my room. They apologized for keeping such thing from me and I forgave them, I ate the food they left for me and we all sat down to watch a movie on Netflix.
We saw a nice kick in the movie and I told the girls I like it and they said they are going to get it for me for my birthday which I was delighted about but later we searched the price on Amazon but it was expensive. The girls were determined to get it for me though.
Later that night when they left to their room I screenshot the kicks and posted it on my Instagram page and write 🤭 "Need this pair of kicks"😘 under it.
The next morning when I checked the comments I got from the post, a lot of people replied they needed it, no one replied they want to get it for me so I deleted the post. And took my bath and had some cereal for breakfast and retired to my reading table to do my project. I have a presentation next week.
Around 10am a knock came to the door and I lazily dragged myself to the door and met a strange man standing at the door.
"Please are you looking for someone?" I asked him.
"Please are you Ms. Jasmine Addison?" He asked and I nodded.
"Yes I am, any problem?" I asked.
"No but I am here to deliver an order placed at our shop yesterday." He said.
"An order? I didn't order anything." I corrected.
"Yes you didn't but I was asked to deliver it to you." He said.
"By who?" I asked.
"It's was an anonymous order, I only know he is a man but I don't know his name, he has paid for everything and asked me to deliver it." He said.
"What product did he ordered?" I asked.
"Few sneakers." He said and I gasped.
"Sneakers?"
"Yes ma'am, can you please sign here and take your things." He said and I dreamily nodded and took the paper from him and signed and handed it back to him.
He helped me carried the big bag of sneakers into the room before he left. After opening the bag I saw two pairs of the sneakers I posted online, two different colors, my favorite colors actually. There were other cute shoes I have always dreamt of having in their boxes and I gasped. Did I forget to tell you I was given a shoe stand as well.
I quickly arranged the shoes on it and decided to call Ashton and asked him if he was the one but he said he don't know anything about it. I called the girls to come over as I excitedly decided to try the shoes on.
"Jasmine what is so urgent?" Audrey asked when they bursted into the room.
"An anonymous person delivered these shoes few minutes ago." I said.
"What?!" Zoe exclaimed.
"Oh My God it looks exactly like the one in the movie." Said.
"Yes and they are all my size." I said.
"And did you say it is from someone you don't know?" Audrey asked.
"Yeah, why?" I asked.
"I saw your post on Instagram and you didn't add your shoe size how did the person know your shoe size?" Audrey asked.
"I don't know, maybe the person know me personally because no one dm me asking for my show size." I answered.
"Have you called Hugh? Maybe he saw your post and decided to surprise you." Zoe said.
"What?!" I gasped, he was the last person I suspected but he is the only one who can do this for me.
"Call him." Zoe repeated.
"I grabbed my phone from the bed and quickly dialed Hugh's number which I have off head.
After the second rung he answered.
"Hey Cupcake, why are you calling?" He answered.
"Hey, I have received some package did you sent them?" I asked.
"Yes Cupcake, I will buy the whole shoe factory for you." He said.
"What?!"
"Hey I am at the gym, will see you in class." He said.
"Gym? Since when?" I asked.
"Since I realized I need to get some muscle to aid me in lifting you." He said.
"Huh?!" I gasped blushing.
"Hey just kidding, see you later." He said and hanged up.
