Jasmine drove Hugh to his old apartment, she made sure she did some cleaning in the house before his arrival. After unpacking the bags from the car boot, she walked over to him and planted a wet kiss on his lips.
"See you later sweetie." She said and tried walking away but he was fast to grab her arms.
"When am I seeing you again Cupcake, I really want to spend the night with you." He said snaking his arms around her waist.
"We will see each other again tonight at my mom's place, a family dinner have you forgotten?" She said.
"A family dinner at your place? No one told me anything about that." He said.
"I am sorry, I thought you knew, I have to go." She said.
"I will see you at the dinner then, I have a surprise for you tonight." He said and gave her a naughty smile.
"Ok, I love you." She said and planted a kiss on his lips.
"I love you too baby girl." He said and kissed her passionately before parting ways.
She drove home smiling to herself. When she got to the house, her mother was already cooking, she was was almost done with dinner, she was baking some croissants cupcakes for dessert.
"Mommy I am sorry, I was stuck in traffic." She said immediately she got to the kitchen.
"I am almost done baby, go and change into something else and come and help me set the table." Her mother said.
"Alright mom." She walked out of the kitchen, she returned to the kitchen wearing an oversize black T-shirt.
"Mommy he proposed, he did it at the airport.." She told her mother when she entered the kitchen, showing her mother the ring.
"Oh My God! It's beautiful." Her mother exclaimed.
"Yes mommy, I love it." She said.
"Congratulations baby." Her mother said hugging her.
"Thanks mommy." She said.
"I bet it worth millions of pounds." Her mother said.
"Definitely. He is sweet." She said.
"Yes he sure is. Help me set the table." Her mother said.
Soon they finished setting the table and Jasmine went to her room to get ready for the dinner.
She wore a black dinner gown with a strip from her upper thigh to her feet and a read high heel shoe, she did a little make up to enhance her beauty and applied a red lipstick on her lips. On her ears were earrings made of pearls, Hugh got it for her on her birthday. Her hair was pulled up in a neat bun. She stood before the mirror, admiring herself when her mom walked in fully dressed.
"You are looking beautiful my dear, now come out they are here?" Her mother said.
"Oh so soon?" She said.
"Yes they are here earlier than expected and it's good they are here. Hurry up and come out now." Her mother.
"Ok, I will be down in a jiffy." She said, her mother dashed out of the room leaving Jasmine in front of the mirror admiring herself.
She walked out of the door after being satisfied with her looks , when she walked into the dinning, Hugh's jaws dropped on the floor, he was drooling over her.
