Hugh's eyes finally opened on the fifth month, when he woke up Jasmine wasn't by his side, she left his side minutes ago to his driving school. He struggled and sat up and just then a nurse walked in, her eyes widen when she saw him sitting on his bed.

"Oh My God you are up, I will go and call the doctor now." She said and before Hugh could say anything, she dashed out of the room. Minutes later she walked in with the doctor.

"Oh My God Mr Hugh you are up. Thank God, you got all of us worried." The doctor said, he tried to say something but none came.

"Can you hear me, can you talk?" The doctor asked and once again he tried to speak but no word came.

"If you can hear me make a sign by nodding your head. Can you hear what I am saying." The doctor asked and he nodded.

"Good, that is a better improvement, I will ran few tests on you and by night time you will be able to gain your voice." The doctor said and Hugh nodded again.

"Please lay down." The doctor said, he wanted to say something and the doctor noticed it so he gave him his note pad and pen and asked him to write his question on it. He took the pen and wrote.

"Where is my girlfriend?"

"She left here minutes ago but promised to be back in the night, she hasn't left your side since you were admitted here which was five months ago." The doctor told him and his eyes widen, he has been here for five months and Jasmine still stay by his side?

"Can you take the bandage off my face now?" He wrote again.

"Yes. Your face is completely healed but your father asked me to keep it on your face so that your girlfriend doesn't see how bad your face has become." He said.

"I want it off my face, I want to see my face." He wrote again.

"Ok." The doctor said and carefully, he peeled off the bandage from his face. He sat up to look at his face in the wall glasses and when he saw his face, he blinked repeatedly and his tears began to fall. His cute charming face was gone, he looks like a monster right now with those big ugly scars.

"I am sorry." The doctor muttered.

With his tears blinding him, he scribbled on the doctor's note pad saying;

"Call my parents to come over right now. Don't inform neither them nor my girlfriend I am up, they should come over right now and if in case my girlfriend happens to come here before them, don't let her in." He wrote.

"I will do that right away." The doctor said after reading it and he immediately placed a call to Mr Maurice, he answered and he(the doctor) delivered the message to him and he promised to be there soon.  

And like promised, Mr and Mrs Maurice arrived 20minutes later. When they arrived, the doctor was done with the needed tests he had to run on him and he told him he will be able to walk in about a month or two. The doctor also advised his face can be back to perfect after after a plastic surgery.

When Mr and Mrs Maurice were ushered into the ward Hugh was in and they saw him sitting up, they were shock was understatement. They never believed their son will be back to life even though Jasmine never stopped telling them he will be fine.

"Oh My, Hugh is that you? Baby are you up oh God, Oh My Baby, My baby." His mother cried and ran to him, she ran her hands on his rough face.

"Please say something to me my baby, you scared all of us, I thought I have lost you. Oh My God am I dreaming, if yes I don't want to wake up from this dream." His mother cried the more, he knows how his mother loves him.
