Brandon's POV

Eddie perched on the edge of the bath tub as the warm water surged into it. I made sure to add sufficient bubbles as the soothingly warm water filled the tub, taking the effort to swirl the water a few times to mix properly.
"I'll leave you in peace" I told her once the tub was full of warm water and bubbles. I felt a hand on my arm, light as a feather.
"Stay" Eddie's voice was quiet and shy. She offered a faint smile. "J-just don't look while I - you know" she giggled lightly. I nodded and turned around, respecting her privacy. I probably shouldn't have but I snuck a peek as Eddie removed her top. She wasn't facing me so I got away with it. My breath hitched at what I saw. The entire right side of her back was tinged blue and purple. I whipped my head straight back, wincing at the thought and half wishing I hadn't looked. Moments later I heard the water slosh and Eddie beckon me.
I smiled softly at the sight. She was sat amongst the bubbles, she looked happy again. I sat myself beside her, only the wall of the bath separating us.
" I don't like seeing you upset" I swallowed, leaning an arm on the ledge of the tub. Her eyes flicked down nervously. "Or hurt" my voice quiet. Their was a moments silence.

"I love you" Eddie suddenly spoke, her words and their weight catching me off guard. My lips automatically curled into a great smile.
"I-I love you too" I reciprocated, reaching out to pull her close to me. Our eyes flicking between each other's lips and eager eyes. Her hands came up to cradle my face, our lips not separating for even a second.
"You're everything I've ever wanted" she admitted, keeping her face impossibly close to mine. Her nose traced mine, the intimacy binding us together. Her sweet words made my heart melt. Carefully, I leant up and cradled her neck with my left hand, my right steadying my body against the tub.
"I want you" I breathed, the temperature between us now soaring.

After a spontaneous steamy and sensual bath, we cozied up on the sofa. Eddie was tucked into my side, her arms clamped around my waist like she was holding on for dear life. I put an old Queen concert on the TV to cut the silence and we simply enjoyed each others company.
"I need to do some sketches" Eddie insisted, readjusting her position but now with her pencil and sketchbook.
"Eddie, do you have to?" I queried, unimpressed. She didn't answer. Instead she nestled back into my side and began to sketch away. I guess this was an ok compromise. Every few minutes I peered over her shoulder at the paper. Each time the sketch changed and became more detailed or more pronounced. She was so talented. We agreed that she'd stay over that night for the first time, seeing as her back was so sore. She hadn't stayed the night yet so it was sort of a big deal. When we said to take things steady I don't think either of us realised we were going to be this steady.

Midnight crept around and Eddie was still sketching away, albeit with weary eyes.
"darling, its getting late, lets go to bed" I suggested, placing a hand on her shoulder. Without a word, she reluctantly closed her things up and followed me upstairs. She was quiet and her eyes were heavy.
"well this is a first" she quipped as we entered my bedroom. The large kingsize bed dominated the room.
I smirked, beaming, as she sauntered towards me, one of my black band tees absolutely swamping her dainty frame.
We clambered into the bed, and as I laid myself down, back against the cool sheets. She  crawled closer to me, "hmm" I smirked as she continued to climb on top of me. Cuddling herself into me, she innocently stuck to me like glue. "You smell so good" I admitted, my voice growing groggy.
"well it is your soap" She sassed back, leaving a trail of breathy kisses along my jawline. There was a moments silence as we exchanged lazy kisses before we both wearily came to a stop. Eddie's breathing deepened. Adorably, she was starting to drop off. I rolled her onto the bed beside me, careful not to disturb her.
The morning soon arrived and for once I woke up before my alarm. There beside me, still snoozing, laid Eddie. I stroked a stray piece of her hair from her face. I admired the view, taking my forefinger to gently trace her cheekbone, finishing my sign of affection with a faint kiss on her cheek. She stirred slightly as I forced myself to get up, regretfully leaving the haven of that bed. I got myself washed and brushed then into my Sunday best. Eddie still hadn't risen. Glancing at my watch, I racked my brain for an idea of what to do. A note. I quickly grabbed a piece of paper and scribbled out a note so she wouldn't be worried about me not being there when she woke up.
