Brandon's POV

I wake up before I can even open my eyes. I hadn't even realized I had fallen asleep. Too tired to have noticed was my guess. I can't bring myself to open my eyes. I want sleep. I am too tired to deal with the world right now. As I try my hardest to sleep, I feel Something on my arm. I brush it off but it remains. I try again. Then it happens again. Fine! I peek open my eyes. There on either side of me with grins stretched across their faces are Ronnie and Eddie. My eyes instantly flick open. The pair of them erupt with laugher.
"What are you?!" I exclaim, sitting up, sending bits and pieces of junk everywhere. "Were you playing bloody buckaroo?!" I fumed, trying to see the funny side. Both of them nodded and did their best to suppress their giggles. "Children!' I sulked with a hint of a smile. I wasn't mad, just annoyed that they had all the fun.
"Aw Brandon don't be upset" Ron chuckled picking up the plastic cutlery and other random things they had placed on me only for me to then throw everywhere.
"Sorry Brandon, it just looked so inviting" Eddie offered, sounding somewhat genuine. I didn't answer, I just swung my head over to her and glared. She gulped. I smirked, I could never play the mean guy for long.
"I'll just have to get my own back" I shrugged, readjusting myself, "I'd watch out if I were you" I chuckled, doing my best evil impression. With that, all 3 of us get back to chatting and keeping ourselves entertained for the rest of the journey to New York. Just a few more hours to go I sighed and got myself comfy again.

Luckily, the last few hours of the journey whizzed by and soon enough we were clambering off of the plane. Surprisingly, I was really enjoying Eddie's company. At first I thought Ron had made friends with some ditsy fan or something but she is actually alright. She was independent and a bit like one of the guys in our crew already. We could do with a girl around sometimes, it can get a bit too masculine sometimes with all that testosterone flying about.

We make our way off the plane and head through all the necessary security measures. It slipped our minds that Eddie would have to go a slightly different way to us so we made an agreement to just see each other by the gate.
"She's growing on me" I admitted to Ronnie as we got in line at passport control. He smirked. "What?" I moaned, laughing at his response.
"You fancy her don't you?" He teased. I scoffed.
"No I don't, I've only just met her" I rolled my eyes. I didn't fancy her. "She's cool" I shrugged trying to play it cool.
"Sure thing mate" Ron places a firm hand on my back and pushed me forward in the queue. I ignored his remark. He was just trying to annoy me. Wasn't he?

We got through security and then found our way to a nice quiet seating area near our gate. It was only 7:30am so the place was rather empty and the sky was still dull. The jet lag was starting to hit me already now. Ron and I sat facing the oncoming travelers so Eddie could see us. Ron always looked so inconspicuous but I had my trusty baseball cap on and a few days stubble so I'd look less recognizable to any fans out there. We had an hour or so until we could board our flight so I got comfortable and slouched down in the chair, trying to get some shut eye.
"Heyyy, we thought you'd got lost!" I heard Ronnie boom. My eyes peeled open and I sat upright. It was Eddie.
"Oh don't, the security man was lovely, too lovely, he was asking me loads of questions" she giggled, settling down on a chair opposite us. "And I got a coffee" she sighed, relaxing into the chair before taking a sip.
"Ah real American Starbucks" I remarked.
"Yeah I have to admit it does taste better here for some reason?" She shrugged, taking a few more sips from her coffee. "Any advice for a newbie coming to live in the states by the way? Especially Utah?" Her eyes peered at us from above her coffee cup. I looked at Ron. Ron looked back at me.
"Hmm, there's loads of pretty places to hike, I would definitely try a few out" I suggested, hiking has to be my favorite thing to do out there.
"Oh yeah for sure, it's really scenic out there, but also probably quite hot for you Brits" Ronnie added, earning a small giggle from us both.
"Hey I tell you what, I could put you in touch with Jessica, my cousin, I'm sure she'll help you settle in" the idea popped into my mind. Eddie's eyes brightened.
"If you're sure? That would be wonderful" she beamed back.
"Have you got a phone sorted for out here yet?" Ron asked as I tapped away on my phone. I hadn't even thought about that bit.
"Erm no" Eddie responded shyly, " I mean I have my mobile from home but I can't call or text or anything, just WiFi" I explained.
"Mobile?!" Ron and I chuckled, "you're going to have to get used to saying cell over here" Ron added.
"I'll text her and get her to add you on Facebook or something" I suggested, still tapping away on my phone.
