Hearing my 5:30 alarm blaring in my ear I pull the blanket tight around myself. It's too early and it's cold however I'm flying to Los Angeles this morning so it's not all bad. Dragging myself out of bed eventually I shower, wash my hair and do my makeup before pulling on the signature red Virgin Atlantic uniform. Even this early I have to look immaculate.

"Morning" I say walking into the kitchen where my flat mate and best friend Lauren is already eating "where did you say you're flying today?" I ask as I pour myself a coffee. We're both cabin crew but for different airlines. Today we both have morning flights.

"Dubai. We're scheduled for 9:30 departure and a seven hour flight then 48 hours of sun for me. What time are you leaving?"

"10:15 departure then I'm back Monday morning. I'm looking forward to it though LA is so nice at this time of year" having been to LA several times I've worked out that August is my favourite time to go. By the time we land and get off the aircraft I'll have near enough two days to explore before I fly back to London.

"I need to head off but have the best time and keep elliesadventures updated not just your own account! It's my favourite thing when you're away!" Lauren says mentioning my Instagram, I wouldn't necessarily say it's a blog but I share a lot about my job and the places it takes me.

"Don't worry I will. I've got a few things planned when I'm there" I say. Sometimes I'll stick with whoever I'm travelling with but this time I'm more than happy to go off and do my own thing. "Enjoy Dubai as well! You can take me on your stand by flight next time!" After a quick goodbye to Lauren I finish getting myself sorted and before I know it I'm at the airport ready for the day ahead.

"Okay girls we've got a full flight today through all cabins. Ellie I want you in charge of first, Jess in premium, Mel in economy and I'll float between premium and economy but I can come elsewhere if I'm needed" my boss Joanne says as we board the aircraft ready to start our preflight checks. "We've got a couple of VIP's in first Ellie so make sure your team know everything they need to know they've flown with us before so they know what kind of service to expect. We're expecting a fairly smooth flight and so far no delays" I listen to the rest of Joanne's brief before she dismisses us. Making my way back to the first class cabin I start to prepare for the flight.

"Who do we have VIP Ellie?" Kirsty asks as we finish off our checklist.

"Jamie Redknapp, Jack Whitehall and Andrew Flintoff" I say reading from my passenger list. Being first class cabin crew, VIP's don't tend to bother me. They're just another passenger like everyone else except they're usually more demanding. However I know who these three are and I'm a fan of all three of them.

"They're all a bit of alright aren't they" Amy says with a wink.

"Stop it!" I say trying to be mad but I can't be. Amy is completely right.

"Did you know about them being on this flight? You're looking banging today! More than normal!" Kirsty joins in with Amy.

"Okay get this out of your system now before they're board because you can not embarrass me when passengers board!" I say laughing "and no I didn't know they're on this flight"

"Okay then Ellie if you had to pick one of them and it could only be one, who would it be?" Becky asks looking at me seriously "I know who I'd choose. Freddie just has something about him don't you think?"

"Obviously it would have to be Jamie he's a complete DILF but you can't go wrong with any of them!" I say laughing.

"Ready girls?" Joanne asks sticking her head through the curtain into the first class cabin.

"Yeah we're ready" I say trying to get my laugh under control before anyone boards. As far as boarding goes, things go as they should. I introduce myself to Jamie, Jack and Freddie as I would to anyone else flying with us however this time I can't help notice just how attractive Jamie is in the flesh. "Oh my god someone get me a wet floor sign!" I say with a laugh as we stand in the galley preparing for take off.
