FELIX GIGGLED, his shoulder smacking with Changbin's as a bright smile played on his lips. The house was packed with people, their bodies swarming like fish as they reached out to their friends and drunkenly called for their significant others. Felix's head was buzzing too, a warm feeling filling him as it slurred his words and blurred his mind.
"She's been looking at you all night," Jisung suddenly pointed out, slightly tipsy as he gestured to a girl that was across the room. The girl was pretty with dark brown hair that curled in front of her face nicely, pouring over her shoulders as her dress embodied all her curves, as if it was perfectly fitted onto her.
There was one problem, she wasn't Y/n.
Felix shrugged, taking another sip of his drink. Changbin smiled, his head buzzing the same amount as Felix, if not more. "Our boy's loyal. Isn't that right, Felix-ah?" The Australian nodded, chewing on his bottom lip. He peered over the bottle after taking another drink, meeting the girl's gaze again.
She smiled sweetly at him and his brows scrunched together, a wave of anxiety filling him as he frowned. "I'll be back in a bit, I'm going to go look for Chan hyung." He left the bottle in Jisung's hand, barely complaining when the boy took a drink from it instead. Minho gave the quokka a weird look, Jisung shrugging.
"What? It's alcohol that I didn't have to get up to get." He said, taking another swig.
Minho rolled his eyes, "You're lucky I'm still sober."
"Why?" He blinked curiously at his boyfriend.
"Because drunk me would've murdered you by now."
Felix stifled a laugh, the conversation drowning out in the background as he headed up the steps, looking around for his older friend. After a few minutes, he opted for the bathroom instead, locking the door weakly before sitting on the toilet lid. His head already began to pound, the waves of hangover crashing on him.
He slumped against the toilet, tired. Felix sat on his phone for a while, buying time for himself before the door was suddenly pounded on. "Hey, buddy! How long are you going to take in there?" Another partygoer shouted, startling Felix, the poor boy nearly dropping his phone onto the bathroom floor.
He coughed, clearing his throat. "I'll be out in a second!"
Head still buzzing, Felix stumbled out of the bathroom, watching as the impatient man outside immediately slipped past him. The blond took out his phone again, letting out a sigh as he leaned against a wall, ruffling his hair with the other hand. He pointlessly stared at it, knowing that even if he texted or called Chan, the boy would be too distracted to respond.
His feet descended the stairs again as he headed to the kitchen, grabbing an unopened bottle whilst sliding past the swarm of people. "Hey, Hyunjin-ah," Felix almost called, immediately clamping his mouth shut at the sight of seeing the silver-haired male too busy locking lips with his girlfriend Jia.
He pursed his lips, glancing back at the couch that his friends once occupied. Jisung and Minho were a little too close, something that Felix definitely didn't want to go back to. Changbin, on the other hand, was talking to some other people. Seungmin and Jeongin hadn't showed up, so there was no point in looking for them.
Tiredly, he swung open the back door and sighed, watching as his breath clouded up and flew into the air. Felix uncapped the bottle, taking a swig from it as the crowd in the house grew louder and louder. Even from outside, he could feel the bass thumping from the floor to his feet. He took a few more sips from the bottle, his vision growing blurry.
I definitely can't drive home. . . calling a cab is too risky too. He squeezed his eyes shut painfully, the pounding in his head growing as he took out his phone. Instantly, he opened his call log, clicking his most recently called number. Calling L/n Y/n. . . His phone read; and just like always, the girl picked up.
Despite it being midnight, she was awake.
"Felix-ssi?" Her voice rang out as he lifted the phone to his ear, drunkenly giggling into the phone. His words slurred together as he greeted her like an excited child. "Hi, Y/n." Felix drew out the last half of her name, forgetting the honorific as she bitterly sighed on the other end. "You're drunk, aren't you?" He nodded ecstatically, thinking she could see him from here.
"Yes or no, Felix-ssi?"
"Ah, you sound mad at me! I-I'm drunk, sorry Y/n-ssi." He managed to remember this time, a big frown on his lips as tears bubbled in his eyes, threatening to pour over. When he was drunk, Felix was a big baby. Y/n chewed on her bottom lip and he could hear the jingle of her keys in the background, "I'll be there soon, Felix-ssi. Do you think you can send me your location?"
He nodded again, exiting before haphazardly managing to text her his location. "I'll be there soon, alright? Can you tell me what you're wearing?" A door slammed in the background as he listed his outfit with slurred words, Y/n barely being able to make it out as she started up her car. Luckily, he wasn't that far from her.
"Can you wait at the front of the house for me? Near the driveway or something?"
She pressed on the gas pedal, putting her phone on speaker mode before setting it in the cup holder near her. Felix spoke this time and she could hear him hum and mumble while foolishly making his way to the front, cursing when he nearly tripped on something. "Sorry God," Felix said after cursing, briefly looking up at the sky.
Y/n choked, snorting as she gripped the steering wheel tighter. The entire time he was on the line, Felix kept talking nonsense and even went on a whole ramble about Minho's cats. "White shirt, black jeans," She mumbled to herself, her gaze peering out of the windows carefully before she came to an abrupt stop, realizing that she was at the right house.
Indeed, the drunk blond was standing, walking around in circles as he looked up at the stars and talked mindlessly into his phone. Y/n sighed, stepping out of her car before approaching the male. "Felix-ssi, it's me. You okay?" The blond's lips broke into a huge grin as he looked at her. "Ah, Y/n-ssi! You're here! My savior," He praised her endlessly and she smiled slightly.
"C'mon, into the car you go."
Felix sang happily, letting her lead him into the passenger's seat. She got into the driver's seat right after, turning to ask him for his address only to find him fast asleep. You've got to be kidding me. Y/n let out an annoyed groan, starting up the car again anyway as she pressed the gas pedal with her foot.
