"YOU KNOW WHAT THEY SAY," Jisung said, standing in the living room as he leaned against his boyfriend who stood beside him. Minho seemed confused, raising a brow at the boy who ignored his confused expression. "What do they say?" Changbin sighed, realizing that no one else was going to respond to his statement.
"Saturdays are for the boys." He finished.
"So?" Jeongin looked up from his phone, confused.
"So, what is this traitor doing?!"
Jisung pointed accusingly at Felix and the figure of Y/n behind him, cheeks puffed up dramatically as he glared at the two. Felix sheepishly smiled, shrugging lightly. "I wanted to introduce you guys to my girlfriend," Instantly, everyone started cheering and smacked the freckled boy on the shoulder or on the arm, proud of him.
Seungmin was the first one to approach Y/n, politely introducing himself as the two shared a bit of small talk. Next was Jeongin and Hyunjin who greeted her just as sweetly, but Jeongin seemed to clearly look up to her, even asking if she'd be willing to give him free tutoring which Y/n caved into (he was too cute to say no to).
Slowly, she began to grow familiar with each and every one of the boys, even waving at Chan as soon as the boy came down from his bedroom. "Alright, we can start now," He said, smiling warmly. They had all waited until Felix arrived, but he had taken a little longer since he insisted on picking up his girlfriend for the day too.
Instantly, Changbin, Jisung, and Felix darted for the game controllers that sat in front of the TV as the opening scene of Mario Kart started. Y/n, on the other hand, opted to sit on one of the couches and ended up talking to Minho about his cats; something she remembered vividly after that one night with drunk Felix.
The two talked for a while as Minho showed pictures of Soonie, Doongie, and Dori, criticizing how the other members of the group didn't love him enough to learn his cat's names. "Ah, well I'll be sure to memorize them," Y/n smiled sweetly at him and Minho grinned, patting the top of her head before calling out to his friend.
"Felix-ah, you picked a good one," He complimented, moving off the couch to sit beside his boyfriend on the floor. Felix looked over his shoulder with a small grin, exchanging a look with Y/n briefly before turning his attention back to the screen. "Yeah, I know." Y/n flushed at his remark, getting off the couch to head into the kitchen for a glass of water.
"Oh, do you need help?"
Chan looked up, glancing over at her once as he shook the popcorn into the large bowl. "If you want to help, yeah," He said, his Aussie accent popping out as she gently took the bowl from his grasp and set it on the table. It wasn't surprising to see Jisung reach out for it first before realizing it was out of his grasp, pouting.
Minho grabbed some for him though, slowly feeding him as his cheeks puffed up with each kernel he was fed. "Ah, you really look like a quokka. The nickname isn't a lie." Y/n remarked, tilting her head at him. Hyunjin, who was watching the match intensely, laughed loudly, slapping his hand against the edge of the couch.
Jeongin even snickered, looking up from his phone briefly. Hyunjin ran a hand through his hair, smiling evilly. "If Minho hyung is into Jisung-ah and if Jisung-ah is a quokka, does that make Minho hyung—" The youngest could easily tell where he was going and Seungmin turned his head to the side, stifling a laugh with his hand.
Changbin just grinned and shook his head while Minho turned to give the lanky boy a death glare. "What did I say before?" Hyunjin's mouth dropped open almost instantly, the words spilling out of his mouth. Y/n covered her mouth like Seungmin did. It's like he's been operantly conditioned by Minho-ssi.
"One hundred eighty degrees in an air fryer for twenty minutes; that's how long it takes to fry a Hwang Hyunjin," Minho nodded approvingly at the statement and the entire group erupted in laughter, growing distracted. Despite the sudden chorus of giggles, Felix managed to stay first place, making Changbin click his tongue and complain.
"Y/n-ah, come here," Felix outstretched his hands as she wordlessly plopped into his lap.
Her back pressed against his chest and she grew flustered at the feeling of his breath brushing against her neck, only cuddling into him further as a light chuckle escaped him. The group hardly seemed bothered by the two's display of affection, having grown used to Jisung and Minho. Plus, they were happy for Felix.
"I bet you can't focus like this," Jisung said, quirking a brow as he shot a blue shell to Felix who had managed to narrowly avoid the shot with a star power. Jisung pouted and Minho laughed lightly, watching the match as everyone looked at the TV with a certain intensity. "You're driving close to the edge of the map," Y/n critiqued.
"No, I'm not."
"You're going to fall off, Felix-ah."
"I won't,"
As soon as he said that, his character hit one of the flower-shaped plants lined with teeth, spinning off the map as Y/n snorted. She was smooth to take the controller out of his grasp, managing to maneuver and steer as swiftly as her boyfriend. "Who knew little miss scholar was a gamer girl too?" Hyunjin gasped, watching as she effortlessly became first place.
"I used to play with my brother a lot growing up," Y/n shrugged lightly, handing the controller back to her blond boyfriend. He pouted slightly, pressing a light kiss to the nape of her neck before he continued playing. "You jinxed it," Y/n rolled her eyes at him, giggling softly as she kissed his cheek, wriggling out of his grip afterward.
She went back to Chan, watching as the boy set out more food for the night that grew more and more chaotic by the second. Y/n smiled kindly at him, "Need any help?"
