FELIX HAD LIED. He had lied his way out of the situation, telling his mother that he had crashed at a friend's house while telling his friends that he was sober enough to call himself a cab home. It's not like they were going to question each other anyway. Among the clothes he had worn that weren't his, he lied and said those were Chan's too.

He wasn't exactly ecstatic about the idea of telling his parents that he crashed at a stranger's house and woke up to his crush and a mystery man looking at him. Even now, the blond couldn't remember his name. All he remembered was his odd hairstyle and his piercing eyes that were slanted in a way that resembled a puma.

He shivered at the thought, quickly distracting himself as he cleaned his room. Just three days in and I managed to fuck it all up. . . just twenty-two days until Chan hyung leaves and I have to confess to her by then. His mind wandered as he chewed on his bottom lip thoughtfully, his hands maneuvering to fold the hoodie that was lent to him.

Felix felt another wave of nausea, his head rocking as he groaned quietly and held onto his dresser. Why did I drink so much? He questioned himself, massaging his temple briefly before setting aside the hoodie with the pair of sweatpants he had also gotten from Y/n and her boy friend.

The boy's mouth fell open at the realization. WHAT IF THAT WAS HER BOYFRIEND?!

He didn't hesitate, his phone almost slipping out of his hand as he dialed Chan's number. The boy instantly picked up, a moan leaving his lips as he rolled over in his bed, a painful hangover also torturing him. "What is it, Felix-ah?" Chan said, his head hanging off of his mattress as he squeezed his eyes shut painfully.

"Does Y/n-ssi have a boyfriend?"

"What? No."

"How are you so sure?"

Chan let out another groan, "I'm just sure, Felix-ah. Can we talk about this another day? I've got a hell of a hangover." The sunshine immediately apologized, recoiling from his phone as he ended the call between him and the oldest member of the friend group. He sighed bitterly, going back to cleaning his room.

The rest of the day, Felix couldn't get it out of his head. Something about the man seemed familiar; he was a mystery and the glare was anything but welcoming. However, the picture of him itched at his mind and he hated it more when he could tell that Y/n had blatantly lied to him about his existence, or rather his relationship with her.

Sure, it wasn't his business, but he was the one that was hopelessly in love with her. Felix had always avoided telling her in fear of rejection, so if this was what was bound to him, he didn't want to think of his impending heartbreak. Tired yet far from sleepy, the boy pulled on socks and traipsed back to the window, slipping onto the roof like before.

It took at least ten minutes before his bedroom door opened and he turned, expecting Olivia. However, it was his mother. "You looked upset all day, Felix. You came home really late too," She remarked, looking at him with a frown as her eyes held only concern in them. He licked his lips, glancing over his shoulder.

Hell, he was mainly surprised that she didn't drag him off the roof.

"I'm not upset,"

"Trust me, Felix, mothers know best." She hummed softly, letting out a quiet laugh before going over to the window. Her figure grew closer to his and he watched as the pale moonlight illuminated her figure. "Eomma, I'm fine." He said, wincing at the sensation of her hands grabbing his freckled cheeks before affectionately rolling her fingers over the skin.

She clicked her tongue, looking at him with suspecting eyes. "I won't push you, but I'm your eomma. I'm meant to be here to listen to your worries and provide you comfort. For now, though," The woman said, pulling away from the window. "Get in your room before I smack you over the head with my slipper."

He quickly scampered inside, watching as she shut the window and locked it swiftly. "Don't go out there anymore, I don't want you to fall." Felix didn't want to admit that he'd been doing that since he had gotten his own room, pursing his lips shut before politely nodding. She smiled at him, grabbing his cheeks again before leaving a chaste kiss on his forehead.

"You've always been a good boy, Felix."

The words were strange but brought a warm feeling to him as he smiled childishly at her comment. "I make up for my sisters' foolishness, right?" He mentioned, referring to his older sister who had already moved out as well as Olivia who slept soundly in the room right across from him.

His eomma lightly chuckled, shaking her head before whispering a goodnight and closing the door behind her. "Reminder to lock my door next time I do that," Felix mumbled to himself, glancing at the stars once before climbing into bed. His eyes closed as he rolled his body, clutching a pillow between his arms.

After a few minutes of laying in bed silently, however, the boy shot up and reached out towards his phone. It lit up, a notification displaying Chan's pointless apology text as Felix smiled and shook his head. Chan hyung doesn't have to apologize anyway; he was hungover, I should've seen it coming.

He quickly replied, reassuring him that it was fine. Chan texted back almost instantly, the three dots disappearing as his message popped up. What made you think Y/n-ssi had a boyfriend anyway? The question was simple and Felix harshly swallowed. Y/n didn't want Felix to be aware of the man's existence or his connection to her.

She must've kept it a secret for a reason.

Felix's fingers flew across the keyboard as he sent his message. Nothing. Just got worried lol :) The message lit up as Felix grew tired of worrying about the mystery man and his crush, shutting off his phone before setting it on his nightstand. He mumbled to himself, rolling onto his back with the pillow still in his arms.

"I'll just let her tell me on her own."
