It was getting on for 07:00AM before we went back to bed. All the way from the living room to our bedroom, Tom held my hand and ocassionally squeezed it as we went up the stairs. When we got in, he switched of all the lights, ticked me under the duvet and kissed my forehead. He climbed in next to me and smiled. "Don't ever feel uncomfortable around me. I want to help you."

I held his hand, squeezed it and then tried to go back to sleep.

I was woken up to the sound of a door shutting. my eyes flickered open and I reached my arm over to the other side of the bed. He had gone and left me. I sighed and collapsed back onto the bed, a hand lying on my head. I looked over at the clock again. 14:07PM

"Shit!" I had slept in over my alarm clock. I rolled over to Tom's side of the bed and frowned. It felt weird. I was never on the right! I shrugged my shoulders and in the corner of my eye, saw a piece of white paper neatly folded up and rested against his lamp. It read,

'Morning Sleeping Beauty,

Didn't want to wake you as you looked so peaceful. Had to leave early to meet a man about a play. Want to meet up for lunch so ring me when you're ready and I will make all the arrangements.

I love you.
X '

I smiled to myself and my heart fluttered. I really did love him.

I got up and had a shower. My hair was and had been frizzy for the past two days so I'm sure we were at that point in our relationship where he could see the 'natural beauty' I am. I scooped up my dark, brown hair, twisted it into a bun and tried to attach some bobby pins decorated with daisys and flowers to make myself look more presentable. I quickly got dressed into a pastel blue skater skirt and matching floral shirt and slipped some tan pumps on my feet.  One final look in the mirror to add a bit of makeup and lipstick and I was ready to go. I smiled at myself and skipped off into the kitchen to reach my phone.

I dailed his number and waited for the painfully long beeps.

"Hello Sleeping Beauty!"

His voice made my insides flutter with excitement.

"Don't tell me you've only just got up and out of bed?!"

I giggled and tutted at him, my voice girly and embarrassing like when we had first met.

"Where is it you're taking me then?" I smile, biting my lip.

"Ahh," He began. "That my dear love, is a surprise. Wait ten minutes and there will be a car outside waiting for you madam. Don't keep me waiting too long!"

"You wish!" I smile.

And with that, he'd stolen my heart again and I became the annoying fangirl I had always been.

Exactly ten minutes later, the doorbell rings and my heart skips a beat. I breathe in and out in an attempt to calm myself down. I reach up, pull the front door handle down and find a single white rose layed down on the ground. Then another, a little bit further away from the doorstep.  I smirk and turn around, grab my bag and follow the trail of roses right up to a dark, blue convertible Mini Cooper. It's sad but these are my absolute favourite cars and only he knows this. I smile down and along the path towards the car and it's driver. He is dressed in a blue navy suit with a waistcoat and a pale white shirt that he pulls off excellently. He grins at me and holds up his hands pointing, "You look absolutely beautiful by the way!"

I bite my lip with excitment and skip along the path, almost not caring what anyone things if me. I jump up and leap into his arms. He laughs in my ear. "The best is yet to come!" He picks me up, like a groom does a bride, and helps me into the car. Plugging in my seat belt, he leans over and kisses my cheek smiling.

"Hungry?"

"Starving..."
