Seven thirty-five, I have just twenty-five minutes left
Thank goodness I wont be to school, I thought driving to school
After safely driving my car into the lined parking lot in front of my school, I stepped out and scrutinized the building.
YISS, Yongsan International School of Seoul was painted cream and brown with a green roof top. Its an English and Korean speaking school and thanks to my sweet grandma, I would be able to cope in this school. Any time my grandma visited us, while I was still going to school, she would school me, teaching me Korean
I locked my car, tucked my keys into a pocket in my bag and went towards the school. I was about to also scrutinize the inside when,
"Ahh!!! Oh my gosh, they're here" I was rushed by excited, hysterical students causing me to fall hardly on my bum
"Are you okay?" someone asked me
I looked up to see a handsome student looking down at me
Wow, was all I could say
"Are you okay? he asked again with his hand stretched out to me.
Noticing I had been staring at him, I took his hand
"Yes, thank you" I told him
"But what was that all about?" I asked dusting myself
Second contact with the floor in one morning, not good
"Nothing new, just some boys" he said
Grabbing my hand,
"Let's go clean you up before school starts" he said
Lunch time, I thought to myself as the bell rang. Thanks to Ji Sung, I learnt his name after he helped me, who helped me get a locker and my class schedule, everything went well and stress free aside the introduction which was, uhm, awkward
Immediately I had gotten my food and settled down on a table at the middle back, I began to regret not taking my lunch box and wondered how I was going to eat as I was seriously hungry and the apple I ate at home did no good
"Here" Ji Sung, as he said I should call him, said as he dropped his lunch box, took mine and sat down
"You've been staring at your food and I know that you can't eat it. So take mine since I'm Korean" he said already eating mine so I couldn't take it back
"Thanks" knowing he was right, I decided not to push my luck
"No problem" he replied and I was about to start eating his peanut buttered jelly until I remembered something
"And by the way, I'm also Korean"
"You are?" he asked and I could see clear shock on his face
"Yes, I am. I just didn't grow up in Korean. My mom married an American so she had to move there. I just came to Korea yesterday" I explained in few details
"I see"
"Jeongmal?" really? he asked in Korean as if to test me
But, I wasn't offended
"De" yes I answered back in Korea making him bring out a beautiful smile knowing he had been caught.
After totally consuming the component of the lunch box, I excused myself, got up and was about to have my table when again
"Ah! Oppa!"
Oh my goodness
I was rushed by students making me fall but not as painful as the previous one
