Watson's pov

My name is Amelia Watson. I work at a detective agency. I used to be a Vtuber under a company called Hololive. I was part of their english branch. However, Hololive went bankrupt after a certain incident and I was left jobless. So I went back to the detective agency I worked at before hololive. They welcomed me back with open arms but things just didn't feel the same. I lost contact with my best friends. Things won't be the same without them.

Right now I'm investigating a murder alone. I told everyone to leave because they're too distracting. I look at the finger prints on the knife and based on how they're positioned, I can tell that this wasn't a murder. It was self inflicted. As to why they did it or why they chose to do it this way, I have no idea. Case closed. I walk to the door and go outside.

Officer: Did you figure it out?

Watson: Yeah, it wasn't a murder it was a suicide.

Officer: Good work as always.

Watson: I'm heading home. My shift is over.

I get into my car and drive home. At this point things like this have no affect on me because I've seen it a lot. This case was pretty easy to solve, however there have been cases that were extremely hard.

Things have been hard for me ever since hololive fell apart. Ever since then I haven't really felt like myself. I open my front door and step inside, closing it behind me. However, I do have one thing that always brings my joy.

My dog named Bubba runs up to me and jumps on me. I smile and Pat his head.

Watson: Hey there Bubba.

I go to my computer and sit down, turning it on. I feel like playing outer wilds. I look at the picture on my desk. It has the other four girls in it. I miss them.

Gura's pov

I'm sitting on the beach thinking about things. I really don't see a reason in staying on land anymore. I'm gonna head back to Atlantis soon. I'll need a few days to plan and pack though. I'll stay here for a while though, the beach is relaxing at night.

Watson's pov

I wake up to see that I fell asleep at my computer. I stand up and stretch. I don't have work today. I go to the kitchen to get breakfast. I see Gura standing there.

Watson: Gura?

I blink and she's gone. Just my eyes playing tricks on me. My phone rings and I pick it up.

Watson: Hello, Amelia Watson here.

Officer: Hey detective Watson we know it's your day off but we really need your help solving a case.

Watson: Alright well I have nothing else to do today, what is it?

Officer: Someone drowned at the beach but we suspect that someone held his head under the water.

Watson: What evidence have you found?

Officer: Well we found a shark hat.
