Chapter 28 ~ Martina:

I was still sitting on the sofa watching TV until my phone binged when I looked at the ID, I saw Jorge's name, as I read the message, I couldn't help but smile where it was a cute message, but I couldn't help but remember what Candelaria said to me, what if he is using me again and I'm falling for it again. 

Flashback ~ 

Candelaria: Martina, what are you doing here? 

Martina: Can we talk? 

Candelaria: I don't know, depends on what it's about. 

Martina: Jorge,

Candelaria: Let me guess, you've come to your senses? 

Martina: Yes, he invited me to a new year party here, but I haven't got an outfit for it. 

Candelaria: Wait... What!!! 

Martina: What? 

Candelaria: You can't come to the new year party, Martina important clients are coming, Jorge can't be seen with his Governess. 

Martina: What are you saying? 

Candelaria: I'm saying there are going to be a lot of important people to promote Jorge's Business. 

Martina: Wait, did he know this? 

Candelaria: Well, of course. 

Martina: So, why did he invite me? 

Candelaria: I don't know, maybe to embarrass you. 

Martina: Why would he embarrass me? 

Candelaria: Martina, you can't go. 

Martina: No, I will go, and if he wants to embarrass me then good luck to him. 

Candelaria: I can't believe this.

After I came out of thoughts, my little girl ran towards me with my mom behind her, I hugged my daughter tightly until my mom started talking about things, I didn't want Maria to know. 

Martina's mom: You went to see him, didn't you? 

Martina: *Ignores her mom* Honey, why don't you go up and get changed. 

Maria: Okay, mommy. 

As she walked upstairs, I got paranoid. 

Martina: *Looks up to her mom* You don't discuss that in front of Maria. 

Martina's Mom: Oh, so you did go and see him, what did you do hmm? Sleep with him? 

Martina: That is none of your business. 

Martina's mom: No, it might not be my business, but it is Maria she's already lost so many people already and she doesn't know what kind of person her mom is. 

Martina: What? Are you threatening me? 

Martina's mom: No, I'm not, I am just saying you always do this, you go off and sleep with men and then you get lost in the moment, what's next Martina? Are you going to turn into a stripper now? 

Martina: I am not going back in that situation, and besides I wouldn't go into stripping, but I would if I needed money whereas you should know, we do anything for money. 

Martina's mom: Don't you dare... 

Martina: Well, you're not so perfect either, you know giving me up when I was 3 because your career was better than a 3-year-old daughter.

Martina's mom: I paid for my mistakes and regrets Martina. 

Martina: Yeah, well so am I mom. 

Martina's mom: Oh, really? By getting into a billionaire's boxers or letting him into your panties, I'll tell you one thing you go down that road I can promise you I will get Maria taking away from you.
