Chapter 16 ~ Jorge:

2 weeks after Martina left:

Things were getting rough, since Martina quit on me, I had to juggle the kids and work again all on my own as I was back in the beginning before Martina came and changed our lives, but now she's left and it's all my fault because I was being my overprotective self, Ruggero was no longer my business partner since the boss Lucus put Diego as my new Partner, I heard that Martina was seeing someone now and she was happy but was I happy?

It was 14:00 Pm I asked Candelaria to pick up the kids from school since I couldn't get home until 6 where I had 3 meetings two this morning and my last one is now, as I asked her, she was being snippy with me since I let Martina leave, she told me off for treating her in such a way.

Lucus: JORGE ARE YOU LISTENING!!!

Jorge: *Collecting the pieces of paper together* I'm sorry, I can't do this right now, I must do something.

Lucus: Jorge?

Jorge: *Hits Diego's back* It's your ideas now.

Diego: Jorge!!!

I ran out of the room and grabbed my jacket while leaving the building. I got in my car and went to see Martina; I was going to do everything it took to make this right.

I arrived at her house as I rang the doorbell and a guy answered the door.

Jorge: Is Martina in?

Clemont: *Hiding his bleeding hand* Why do you want her?

Martina: *Muffles* Help!!!

Jorge: Martina?

Clemont: *Holds him back* You really don't want to go in there.

Jorge: Get out of my way.

Maria: Help!!!

Clemont: I am telling you to leave them alone.

Jorge: Oh, so how do you explain the blood on your hand?

Clemont: I smashed a bowl.

Jorge: Yeah, and I have earache you are a liar, now get out of my way before I punch you out of my way.

Clemont let me in the house where I saw a disgusting sight, the house was trashed and Maria was tied to the banister with bruises on her face, I let her run to the car until Clemont gripped her before I could get to Martina, I took the tape off her mouth where she was breathing quite hard until Clemont held Maria's neck nearly strangling her Martina was still tied to the radiator. 

Clemont: You untie her then you will say goodbye to her daughter.

Jorge: How sick are you? You would kill a 6-year-old girl.

Clemont: Not if you leave her to die instead. 

Martina: *Whispers in his ear* Please just look after Maria.

Jorge: No, no way I'm not losing you.

Martina: You haven't got a choice.

Jorge: I do have a choice and that is to bring back up.

We looked up after hearing Clemont slam to the floor where we saw Ruggero and Candelaria, before I untied Martina, I kissed her making her kiss me back.

After some time, I took Martina back to my house where she was now living with us, but she wasn't a governess she more to us than that she was family, the boys were happy to have Maria and Martina back and we started to spend more time together and I found out that I was the father of her second child, but she was unsure whether she lost it or not.
