Chapter 11 ~ Martina:

 When I arrived at Candelaria's house when she let me in, we sat down while drinking red wine. We were talking about Jorge and Ruggero.

Candelaria: So, Jorge Blanco, do you have feelings for him?

Martina: What? No, he's just my boss.

Candelaria: See I don't believe you, because you are glowing misses, which means you've had some sexual intercourse spill.

Martina: Okay, it was the night when he went out with Ruggero, he came home, and we drank some wine although I got drunk, he carried me to my room and he left, but I went into his room I started it.

Candelaria: You seduced Jorge Blanco; wow you must have feelings for him.

Martina: No, because you saw what he was like to me, it was like he didn't care?

Candelaria: He is always like that, come on if he were nice to you then people would be suspicious of you both.

Martina: But we also have his boys to think about, I don't think they would want me as their new mother.

Candelaria: I think they like you enough to have you as their mom, besides Jorge likes you.

Martina: I don't think he did, although before I left earlier, he shouted at me and then he kissed me it was like he did for a punishment.

Candelaria: What?

Martina: Anyway, how are you and Ruggero?

Candelaria: We're good, I think he's just glad that he has his best friend back although they bickered at the office.

Martina: What?

Candelaria: He didn't tell you.

Martina: No, why would he?

Candelaria: Well, he should, because they were arguing about you.

Martina: Why, were they arguing about me?

Candelaria: Because Ruggero was annoying him about you and Jorge got a bit offended.

Martina: Oh my god, I don't want to come between them.

Candelaria: I don't think you are, but Ruggero said that Jorge was aggressive towards him.

After some time Ruggero walked in, I looked at the time I needed to get home, but I remembered I've just drunk alcohol so I shouldn't be driving, Candelaria asked me if I wanted to stay over.

I rang Jorge to tell him that I wasn't coming home till tomorrow since I had been drinking, Jorge said it was fine and that he would see me tomorrow, I asked him to give Maria a goodnight kiss for me since I wouldn't be home.

Candelaria: Ruggero, my love will you be able to set up the guest room for Martina, please?

I followed Ruggero up to the guest room well I say follow more like stumble behind him, while he was setting the bed for me, I had to apologise to him about Jorge and about being a part of the reason they weren't talking.

Ruggero: Uh, sure.

Martina: Thank you, but Ruggero I'm sorry about what happened with Jorge, the least I want to do is come between you both.

Ruggero: Martina, you would never come between me and Jorge, if anything Jorge will be the one coming in between us, not you.

Martina: Why? Because he doesn't want to talk about his personal life?

Ruggero: No, because when we started being business partners, we promised each other that we wouldn't keep each other out of each other's lives but with Jorge he has a hard time pushing people away, but after Stephie's death Jorge kind of pushed people away and closed the office for a long time until he got his life back on track and with the boys as well.

Martina: Oh, but didn't you help him with the boys?

Ruggero: Eventually but Jorge Blanco will never ask for help he never does.

Martina: Well, I don't think he does it on purpose he's just that kind of person who doesn't like to ask for help.

Ruggero: But that's a coward way out of not asking for help.

Martina: It's not a coward's way, Ruggero.

Ruggero: Yes, it is, anyway what would you know huh? you barely know him.

Martina: I know enough to know that he isn't a coward.

Ruggero: Yeah, well be careful around him because he is an extremely complicated man, he might seem kind and a great man and father but there's another side to him you haven't seen of him yet.

Martina: I think I can handle him.

Ruggero: Do you think you can?

Martina: Yes, of course I can.

Candelaria: Ruggero, why are you taking so long?

Ruggero: Martina and I were just getting to know each other, right?

Martina: Yeah and talking about Jorge.

Candelaria: Whatever he said about Jorge just ignore him.

Ruggero: I only spoke the truth about the real him, she should find out now then three years down the line.

Candelaria: That's not your choice to make.

Martina: It's fine, I deserved to know the truth about Jorge.

Candelaria: Yeah, but he still shouldn't have said anything you should find out those things on your own to make your own decisions.

Ruggero: What kind of friend are you not telling her that for which to look out?

Candelaria: Ruggero that's not our place she needs to find out by herself.

Martina: What do you mean by find out on my own?

Ruggero: Are you sure you aren't going to tell her?

Candelaria: I'm sure, all I will say is he can be complicated at times. 

Martina: Oh, I know but I can be complicated sometimes since I have an annoying Ex back in my life.

Candelaria: Just don't let Jorge hurt you.

Ruggero: Wait a minute you have an ex?

Martina: Doesn't everyone, *Puts the glass down on the table* Anyway I think I'm going to call it a night.

Candelaria: Okay, I will see you tomorrow.

Martina: Yeah.

Martina went up to the guest room and got ready for bed, but she didn't sleep straight away as she looked a pictures of Maria and Jorge.
