The Governess ✔️ - Jorge & Martina *Book 1*

Chapter 4 ~ Jorge:

6:00 pm: ~

Before I went home from work, I had some paperwork to do before I could leave as I started reading a contract that Ruggero left on my desk, Ruggero knocked on the glass door of my office, while I was still reading the contract when he walked in wasn't paying attention.

Ruggero: Jorge, how are you here and not with your boys?

Jorge: Oh, it's fine, I've hired a governess, I took your advice, and you were right, I can't keep relying on you and Cande it's not right.

Ruggero: So, who is this Governess?

Jorge: Her name is Martina Stoessel, she's great with the boys even though today is her first day.

Ruggero: So, does she know that you stay late at work?

Jorge: I have mentioned that.

Ruggero: So, do you think you will have a thing with her?

Jorge: What kind of question is that?

Ruggero: Well, come on Jorge, it's been a year since you have lost Stephie.

Jorge: Exactly, I don't think the boys are ready for a new mom yet.

Ruggero: Really, well if they get used to Martina there will be a thing where she will be their new mom and it'll be someone they are used to.

Jorge: What?

Ruggero: Come on, Jorge, you haven't had a sex life since you've lost Stephie and brough the boys up.

Jorge: Yeah, because it's kind of hard for me to have a sex life when I have two young boys at home.

Ruggero: We need a guy's night out.

Jorge: What? No, we don't.

Ruggero: Oh, Jorge when the last time was you had a drink in a bar with some girls, besides, you have a governess now which means you can do what you want unless you're falling for her.

Jorge: You just don't know when to stop nagging do you?

Ruggero: Jorge, stop being such a stubborn git and let's make a night of it.

Jorge: I'm not being stubborn Ruggero, I have paperwork to finish and then I just want to go home.

Ruggero: We need a drink.

Jorge: Thanks, but I can go home and have a drink for free.

As Ruggero left my office, I worked on paperwork when I started to yawn while looking at my watch as it was getting late.

12:00 am: ~

I started to make my way home when I drove up to the drive, I could see the Living Room light on, I went into the house where I saw Martina laying on the sofa, I woke her up while sitting down on the arm of the sofa.

Jorge: *Whispers* Hey, have you been waiting for me to come in?

Martina: *Half asleep* Uh... Ethan was a bit upset because he wanted to know when you were coming home.

Jorge: Oh, I got caught up in a meeting, but have you been okay with them? Where's your little girl?

I couldn't help but notice that Martina didn't introduce me to her little girl.

Martina: Uh, my mom is looking after her instead, she thought it was a better idea than letting her stay with me.

Jorge: Oh, that's fine, why don't you go up to bed, where it's midnight.

Martina: Uhm, I told Ethan that you would go up and see him where he was upset.

Jorge: Okay, I'll go up and see him now.

While I went up to see Ethan and Joshua, and I walked into Ethan's room when I walked into his room to say goodnight he was on his game, as I opened the door, I could see him pretending to sleep but I could see the light from the game under the covers.

Jorge: Ethan, I know you're not asleep.

Ethan didn't answer he just snored, but I was trying to take the game off him, to let him sleep but Ethan gripped onto my hand to stop me from taking it off him.

Jorge: Ethan, let go come on its midnight, it's time to sleep, you must get up early in the morning for school, let me have your game.

Ethan: No, dad!!! Let me keep it.

Jorge: If, you don't let me have the game when I count to three look out, one...2.3 right that's it.

I started to tickle him, and he was shouting at me but laughing as well, until he let the game go, I gripped hold of the game, but he still wouldn't let me take it, then we could hear Martina coming through the door.

Ethan: Martina, help me please!!!

Jorge: Nobody is going to help you. *Carries tickling him*

Martina: I don't know about that Jorge; I can help him by... *Pushes Jorge onto the bed*

Ethan jumped on me and found my tickling spot making Jorge laugh, then it was time to stop since it was late, and Ethan needed to sleep since he had to get up early in the morning, and we didn't want to wait Joshua up in the next room.

Jorge: *Puts the game on the dresser* Okay, that's enough time to go to sleep now, goodnight, Ethan.

Ethan: Goodnight, Daddy, and Martina.

Martina: Good night, Ethan.

As we came out of his room, I closed the door ajar and Martina went into her room, and I went to mine since I was tired from working and I knew I had a business meeting out at town in the morning, so I needed to be well rested for that.

Once I laid on the bed after getting changed, I couldn't help but think of what Ruggero said to me earlier on, but then my eyes went up to Martina's room which made me think, but then I had to stop my thoughts as I am just her boss, and she is just a governess to my kids which I couldn't date my kid's governess could I? No Jorge, you couldn't do that to Ethan and Joshua but not only that I never thought I would go through marriage again after what happened with Stephie, things got complicated as my job was taking over my time, that I never came home much to see my kids or her and we drifted apart, what if I do that again?

I couldn't go through that again or put someone else through that either it isn't fair to me or the kids or to the person I move on with.
