Wound up bandages, wrapped up emotions.
Plastering a fake smile, such deadly transitions.
Fitting the key in, but the lock doesnt open.
How do I tell you, thats the wrong lock you're trying to open.
Prettiest you are when you simply dont care,
Happiest you are when you leave it all bare.
Glowing then like the sun up high in the sky,
I wish you could see all these candid moments shimmering in my eye,
Just like aesthetic summers,
Natural, pleasant and loved by all.
Just like aesthetic summers,
Raising everyone from their downfall,
Cuz you have a heart as big as the ocean,
Despite the irregularities of the waves in motion,
but isnt that what makes a heartbeat?
Warming up this cold underwater world with your generous beach heat,
And that's when I knew you were the most beautiful human I'd ever meet,
Just like Aesthetic Summers.
