"Hey Haz!" Louis said excitedly, entering his room. Harry looked up from a book that he was reading, his eyes glossy. Louis' smile immediately vanished, concern furrowing his brows. His feet picked speed, crossing the room to sit in front of his best friend sat on his bed. Louis gingerly took Harry's face in his hand, worry lacing his voice as he whispered, "Haz, what's wrong, what happened? Tell me, I'll fix it. For you, Haz." Harry looked at Louis, his best friend, looked at the pain in his blue eyes. Pain because of Harry's sadness. Harry almost broke down again. He just shook his head, holding the book in his hand a little higher, the title visible to Louis.

"It's nothing Lou. You know how sad TFIOS can get." his excuse fell on deaf ears. Louis shook his head, his hands still holding Harry's face. He closed the gap between them, letting their foreheads touch, his messy brown hair lightly tickling Harry.

"I know you Harry. I know that you are not crying because of a book. It's something else isn't it. Something more serious. You can tell me, you know I won't judge." Louis whispered, his voice almost inaudible over Harry's sniffles. Somehow, Harry managed to hear him. He took a deep breath, confessing his inner feelings.

"Today morning, I saw you with Eleanor, by the gates. Your hand... It was on her waist. I thought you were just friends. I didn't know, I swear, I didn't know until I saw you with her. I didn't know that what I felt for you was not what a guy felt for his best friend. That it wasn't normal. I tried to hide it, I really did. I didn't succeed though. You know what, maybe this was a wrong idea. I should have never told you. Great! Now I'm going to ruin this friendship, along with the many other things I've ruined. I'm sorry, Lou. I just hope we can still remain friends. I will always be there when you need m-" Harry's speech was cut short, when Louis' lips crashed against his. Their mouths in sync. Two 17 year old boys, battling the world with nothing but their love for each other. The kiss felt too short, ending too soon. Their foreheads were still attached. Eyelashes that weren't his own, fluttered against Harry's eyes. "How does this work?" he whispered.

Louis just shrugged, "I guess we'll just have to find out."
