"Haz, you have to stop." Anne said sadly, looking at her son. Harry looks up, the photo of him and Louis still tight in his hands. "He's gone. I know you don't want to hear it but you need to. You need to learn to move on."
Harry shakes his head trying to keep the tears at bay. He shakes his head muttering curses under his breath before finally saying,
"It was my mistake. We were drunk. He told me to not drive and I didn't listen. He told me to just wait until morning and I didn't listen. He fucking told me there was a truck coming our way and I didn't listen. And now he's gone and I can't do anything but listen to his voice in my head telling me again and again. It's my fault. It's my fucking fault that Louis died."
Anne looks at her son trying her hardest not to cry. "Harry no. You need to hear yourself. You were drunk. You both were. You didn't know what you were doing. Louis' death is not your fault. There was nothing you could do to stop it."
Harry looks at his mom, finally letting the tears flow. "I loved him mom. I had given him my heart. He was my heart. And I don't have him anymore. I need to wake up everyday without him laying besides me. I need to wake up everyday and remind myself that I now have to live a life without Louis in it. I don't know how to do it mom. He was my life. He was the reason I got up in the morning. The reason I went to bed with a smile on my face. He was my everything. Was."
Harry could hardly breath at the end of his rant. His eyes were puffy, his nose red as he stood there gasping in front of his mother. Remembering the love of his life. His love. His life. Gone.
