The sun's warm rays shone down in the Natura District in Vinyl City, home to the Golden Maestro and her mother that ruled the district. In a certain area of Natura, there was an orphanage where a young 5 year old (Y/N) lived with the other orphan children. After losing their father in a terrible accident and their mother due to illness, (Y/N) came to live in the orphanage until they would be adopted by a loving family who would take good care of them. (Y/N) was a very happy child despite losing their parents at a young age, but they knew their parents were watching over them with the angels from above.

(Y/N) got along very well with the other children at the orphanage, and even helped out the caretakers in cooking, cleaning, and did some errands for them when they were unable to due to being busy with taking care of the younger children. On this day in particular, (Y/N) was running an errand which involved them going to the bakery to pick up some cookies for dessert later tonight. However also at the bakery, Yinu's mother Juniper (this is a headcanon name for her since it doesn't say what her name is in the game) was taking her daughter to treat her to a pastry since Yinu had won another award for her music. "So I get to pick out anything I want Mama?" Yinu asked as she looked up at her mother, as Juniper smiled. "Of course my dear, it is a special day for you." Juniper replied. "Do you think Papa is proud that I won another award?" Yinu asked, as her mother glanced at her wedding ring, before back at her daughter, "Your papa will always be proud of you Yinu, even as he's watching from above with the angels."

It had been years since her husband had died due to illness, and Yinu was precious to Juniper. She made a promise to her dying husband that she would protect Yinu and raise her to the best she could be, and Yinu promised her father that she would always continue to play his piano. After his death, Yinu went on to become an NSR artist with her mother by her side, and also became the charter for the Natura District. Juniper missed her husband dearly, but she continued to remain strong for her daughter. Things were about to change for Yinu and her mother at the bakery, once (Y/N) arrived to pick up the cookies.

As Yinu and her mother moved up the line of the bakery to the front of the cashier, the door opened as (Y/N) stepped inside, causing everyone in line and the employees to look over at them. Juniper quickly noticed that (Y/N) wasn't accompanied by an adult, making her grow concerned as to why the child was here by themselves. (Y/N) walked up to the counter as an employee had a bag of cookies waiting for them, before the employee gave the bag to (Y/N). "Here's the cookies for you and your friends at the orphanage, on the house." The employee said as (Y/N) took the bag with a smile, "Thank you Mister! Have a good day!" (Y/N) said with their (E/C) eyes bright before they left the bakery with the cookies.

"Excuse me sir, but who was that child?" Juniper asked as she looked at the employee. "That's (Y/N), they lost their parents 2 years ago and have been living in the orphanage since then. They come here from time to time to get a bag of cookies for themselves and their friends at the orphanage." The employee explained as he opened the door of the pastry display container, "Now, what would you like ma'am?" Juniper let her daughter pick out what she wanted, before paying and leaving with Yinu as the child ate her chosen pastry.

As the two was nearly close to their home, Yinu spoke up after she finished eating her pastry, "Mama, can we adopt (Y/N) from the orphanage tomorrow?" "You want to have (Y/N) as a younger sibling my dear?" "Yes Mama, they lost their mama and papa, and I'm sure Papa would like to have (Y/N) as part of the family, wouldn't he Mama?" Juniper's heart became soft as she heard Yinu's reply, before she smiled. "I'm sure your papa will love to have (Y/N) as part of our family, so tomorrow morning we'll go to the orphanage and go see (Y/N) ok?" "Yay! Thank you Mama!" Yinu said as she hugged her mother, to which Juniper smiled and hugged her daughter back.
