Just another day in Vinyl City, but in the Cast Tech District m at Club Planetarium, DJ Subatomic Supernova was busy getting ready for a packed concert tonight, as usual. He only had a certain amount of time before he had to leave for the NSR Tower, since Tatiana had a meeting planned with all of her NSR Artists. The DJ could care less about these boring meetings, but this time he would be unable to take his mind off a certain NSR artist that had recently joined the elite ranks.

(Y/N) was the charter of (D/N), and they specialized in (M/G), with the help of their trusty (F/I). They had gotten a lot of attention from NSR due to their music skills, even though they were just a small artist. Tatiana decided that (Y/N) was a perfect fit for becoming the newest NSR artist, and invited them to join NSR, to which (Y/N) happily accepted since they were also a fan of the other artists. However, DJ Subatomic Supernova happened to (Y/N)'s favorite artist, unbeknownst to the DJ himself.

After (Y/N) joined NSR, the egotistical DJ started to develop feelings for the smaller artist. But he would be quick to deny it if anyone noticed, not because of his big ego that was the size of the galaxy, but he was afraid of how (Y/N) would react. The DJ was afraid of being rejected by (Y/N) once his feelings got out, but at tonight's meeting in particular, a mermaid idol would notice the DJ's change in behavior towards (Y/N), and decide to use her expertise of love to help bring the two together. A few minutes went by in preparation for his upcoming, before DJ Subatomic Supernova noticed it was time to go, before heading off to the NSR Tower.

Once he got there, DJ Subatomic Supernova saw his fellow artists present, but (Y/N) was nowhere to be seen. "Where is (Y/N)?" Tatiana asked as she also noticed (Y/N)'s absence, "Shouldn't they be here by now?" "(Y/N) said that they weren't going to make it to the meeting today." Eve spoke up, "They didn't say why though." "That's strange..." DJ Subatomic Supernova muttered to himself, "(Y/N)'s always at a meeting." Tatiana sighed before she cleared her throat, "Very well then, we'll just have go through the meeting without them."

The DJ sighed in disappointment as the meeting got started. He was really looking forward to seeing (Y/N), and was also really hoping he could get the courage to confess to them. Perhaps it would have to be another time when (Y/N) was around. Throughout the meeting, Sayu could easily notice how the DJ was behaving due to (Y/N)'s absence, and quickly realized what she thought was going on. After the meeting ended, DJ Subatomic Supernova was fixing to go back to his district when he heard Sayu call out to him, "Hey DJ!" The DJ turned around and saw Sayu swimming up to him in the air, before floating above him like the digital being she was.

"Ah, hello there Sayu." DJ Subatomic  Supernova said as he looked up at her. "Sooooo, I couldn't help but notice you were quiet the entire time during the meeting," Sayu spoke, as the DJ suddenly knew she was onto him, "Was it because (Y/N) wasn't there?" "What? No- of course not!" The DJ replied as he started to blush, "I just found the meeting to be very boring that's all!" "Are you sure about that?" Sayu asked while giggling, "You were very fast to respond when I asked about (Y/N)-" "It's not that I like (Y/N)- I just really care about them-" DJ Subatomic Supernova spoke up, before hearing Sayu bursting into laughter, as he sighed in defeat.
