Audrey's POV
Walking through the business building, I heard someone shouting. Turning back, I saw Austin rushing over.
His hair was matted against his forehead. The usual bright eyes where now bloodshot and puffy. He looked extremely pale.
"You look like a wreak." I spoke honestly.
"Shut up." He said with a deep groan.
After a while of having classes with the kid every day, Austin and I became great friends. And we both made it clear that we weren't interested in one another. I have Luke and he his fiancé Skylar.
"Only if I get ice cream." He looked at me.
"You're not Marisa. No."
I shook my head. "Rude."
"That's not me. That's Adam." I rolled my eyes at the pricks name.
"Don't like him?" Austin chuckled.
"Not very much. No." He nudged me jokingly.
"How come." I glanced at him.
"I feel like something bad is going to happen and it'll involve him." Sounding mad, Austin took a step away from me.
"Your very specific." He pointed out.
I shrugged. "So I've been told."
-----------------------------------------
"I called Calum yesterday. He's bringing down my car." Marisa announced walking out of the bathroom in sweats and a tee. Her hair soaking wet.
"Okay." I hummed as I scrolled through Twitter.
Looking at all the notifications I accidentally clicked a link and saw a picture of myself. It was me standing in the goal at practice last week with the caption "Luke and Calum's new girlfriends?"
"Hey M." I shouted since she went into the restroom.
"Yeah?" She shouted back.
"You might want to check this out." Sitting next to me, we scrolled through the article and looked over comments and looked at the couple photos of us.
"My ass looks good in spandex." I smacked her chest causing her to shout in pain.
"Watch the boob!"
"You don't have any." I fired back getting a glare from her.
-----------------------------------------
"Is Calum staying in Mississippi after he drops off your car?" I asked as I shut my folder and slid my book onto my desk.
"I'm not sure." She said as she sat up in a cocoon made from her five blankets. Why she needs five I don't know.
"Well that's a problem." I said in a 'duh' tone. She waved me off before falling back down onto her pillows.
"He can sleep in a hotel." She mumbled with her eyes shut.
"And what if he doesn't want too?" I interjected. She turned and looked at me, eyes still closed.
"He'll sleep in my car than." Rolling my eye, I lay down myself and looked at the white/yellow ceiling.
"So how are you and Adam?" I joked as I heard her roll over and feel her eyes boring into me. At this point I knew not to look at her for I would have something thrown at my eyes.
"I will fucking murder you you troll." I couldn't help but laugh out loud.
"Is that a no." I asked leaning back in a way to look at her.
"Troll." Again I laughed.
"We'll make a nice makeshift tent for him." I said rolling onto my stomach to look at her.
"We should make him a small camp fire too to roast hot dogs over." She gave me a thumbs up before she checked phone and groaned.
"I have class." Standing up she grabbed one of her many sweatshirts and pulled on her black sweatpants before she grabbed my uggs.
"Why are you dressed like we're in Cali?" I asked slightly confused.
"We may be in the south, buts it's still flipping cold at night." She turned and pointed at me.
"Now call your boyfriend and have phone sex." Eyes wide, I gawked at her while she walked out of the room.
-----------------------------------------
Walking out of the room, I looked in the small slot compartment that the school called a mailbox. Usually we don't get anything but for once we actually had something.
"Holy shit." Walking back into the room, I showed Marisa the letter and a large smile erupted on her face.
"So it finally came." I nodded while plopping down next to her.
Carefully we opened the velvet red envelope. Pulling out the card, I saw that it was indeed what we thought it was. The black, red and white ribbon on it gave it away instantly since they were Kayla's colors.
'You are formally invited.'
-----------------------------------------
Walking outside, I waited for Calum since he had texted me he was here. On my way, I passed a very determined looking Adam but I shook it off.
Outside I saw Calum holding Marisa's keys in his hand and a thing of bagels that I'd asked for.
"Welcome to casa de college." Laughing, he wrapped his arm around me for a hug.
Helping him inside the building I led him towards our door.
"How's Marisa." He said more than a question.
I looked up at him seriously. "She's fine."
Just than I remembered Adam walking past me quickly. And Marisa and I's room is the last door.
"Oh shit." I whispered before leaving Calum behind and running towards my room.
"Hey! Audrey wait!" Ignoring his cries I turned and saw my room. The door was wide open and I heard loud commotion.
