A Month Later
Audrey's POV
"So let me get this straight," Kayla pointed at Marisa and I. "You two aren't going to be in town a month before my wedding." Marisa and I nodded.
Kayla rubbed her temples. "Why not?" The frustration and annoyance in her voice were very noticeable.
"I have to take Damien to my grandmas since shes been on my ass about it." Marisa said which was true. Kayla's attention turned towards me.
"I'm tagging along." I said honestly. Kayla crossed her arms and stared at me like I wasn't telling the truth.
The real reason we were leaving was because Kayla has already gone bridezilla. We're doing this for our own safety more than anything. Kayla was going crazy and I know she would willingly throw a thing of metal at us.
"What about the triplets?" Kayla asked like she'd already beaten us. But she forgets, Marisa and I have been doing this much longer. We prepare two days ahead.
"Luke will be in town by than so he'll have father-son bonding."
Kayla rolled her eyes. "Does he even know what he'll be doing?"
I shrugged. "He'll learn eventually. Plus Mikey and Calum will be there to help."
She just waved her hand at us before walking back into the dining room. Marisa and I waited until she was gone before we slapped hands.
"Ladies if-"
"I swear if you say another lyric I'll kill you both!" Kayla shouted cutting us both off. Marisa and I giggled.

Luke's POV
"I want to get something cool for Damien." Calum muttered laying in his bunk. His phone was positioned close to his face. A picture of Damien filled his screen.
"I want to get something for the triplets too." I muttered than grimaced. "But that's a lot of money."
I sat staring at the ceiling of my bunk before Ashton spoke. "Get them penguin plushies!" We all laughed at Ashton's suggestion.
"Guys I'm being serious!" He whined. We only laughed more.
"Oh! Calum you could get Damien a puppy!" Mikey shouted from the front.
Calum shook his head. "The hell is wrong with you?!"
"Do it!" Ashton said sticking his head out of his bunk. "They can grow up together."
"They have a point." I pointed out.
Calum looked down at me. "Don't help them."
We all laughed before our bus driver piped in. "You should do it Hood!" Calum shouted in annoyance.
"I've heard you chat 'bout your girl! Get her the dog!"
"None of you are helpful." Calum said rolling. Suddenly I saw a flash of black before Calum groaning.
Sticking my head out I saw Calum laying on his stomach. I smiled. "How you doing?" Calum stuck his hand up and flicked me off.
-----------------------------------------
"I can't believe we're doing this." I muttered.
We had all decided to buy something for our boys, except Calum. He had decided to get Damien the puppy. Marisa was sure going to marry him on the spot.
"What am I supposed to get a baby girl?" Mikey complained the whole time we walked to the shopping center.
"Get her a baby band tee." I suggested. Mikey looked at me like I was stupid.
"I could get her twenty for free." He shook his head. "From my own damn closet."
Grabbing a small basket, we made our way through the store. We searched for something worthy for our kids. Which was harder than you'd think.
"Should I just get Eli bandanas?" Ashton asked after searching the store for almost an hour.
"Hell I don't even care anymore. I don't want to be here. I want to sleep." I muttered feeling my eye lids get heavy.
"I agree!" Throwing the basket back in its spot we began walking down the street.
When we reached the bus the driver said our phones had been ringing. Not caring much we watched tv until we heard Calum's phones ringtone.
"Marisa never calls me." He muttered rushing up and into the back. We all waited until he came back, his phone tightly to his ear.
"Hey-Lucy?" Calum said looking at us all confused. Mikey lifted his head most confused.
"Wait wait wait-what happened?" Calum put the phone on speaker so we could all hear.
She sighed. "Do not freak out! Do you understand Luke?" We all looked at Luke.
"Audrey got a job."
"Wha-" I began to ask.
"Wait! She's working at Ashton's bar but she felt bad for not telling you and you shits wouldn't answer." I sat back against the couch, relaxed.
"Where is she now?" I asked.
Lucy sighed in relief. "She was talking to Eric Nam the last time I saw her."
We heard slight shuffling before Marisa spoke. "I'm here to grace you with my melodious voice."
"I thought you were going to make our ears bleed." Michael said causing us all to laugh.
Marisa fake laughed. "Haha your so fucking funny." She grunted. I took the phone from Calum.
"So how is Audrey? And who's Eric Nam?" I asked quickly.
Marisa cooed. "Awe does Lukey have a crushy?" I rolled my eyes.
"Marisa be serious." I said causing her to laugh.
"Have I ever been serious?" I shook my head even though she couldn't see.
"Don't worry Lukey, your fiancé isn't dying. She's fine. And Eric is some guy helping Kayla with some building stuff for the wedding. Audrey's not having an affair." My cheeks turned bright red.
"She's not my fiancé." I muttered, fully feeling Ashton, Mikey and Calum's eyes on me.
Marisa laughed. "Don't act like I wouldn't see Lucas Hemmings!" I shifted from the guys. "I saw that promise ring!"
"Marisa!" I said gazing at my friends. "Will you be quiet?" I asked.
She was silent for a moment. "You didn't fucking tell them?!" I pulled my ear away from her loud screaming.
"I didn't have time-" she instantly cut me off.
"You guys could have orgies on that bus! How could you not have time to tell them!"
I stayed silent as she ranted. It took a good ten minutes before she finally finished.
"Would you like to tell them yourself?" I asked since she'd already told most of the story.
"Yes! Glad you asked!" I could practically see her smiling.
Handing them the phone I stepped out. Crawling into my bunk I shoved my hands under my pillow.
My fingers hit the hard box. I wrapped my fingers around the box before pulling it out. The red box fit perfectly in the palm of my hand.
Carefully I opened the box. The large diamond glistened in the dim lighting.
"I promise. I'll do it."
