Audrey's POV

Walking through the hallway of the girls dorm, I felt very much like a small animal or a child.

The halls were a dull creme color with a weird purple and brown carpet. Pictures of the school covered some of the walls, but I was honestly to distracted to look at them.

Instead, Marisa and I were following a school representative who was showing us were our room was. They had already given us the room key but decided to show us instead. Which worried me.

"Audrey calm down. It's like when you and Luke had sex the first time. Stop it." She scolded me.

"Will you shut up!" I hissed at her as the man kept walking like he hadn't heard anything.

"That's better." She smiled happily before colliding into the mans back, causing her to fall hard on her ass.

"Please be careful." The man said as he helped her off the ground.

"You'd be amazed how many times shes been told that." I laughed as she glared at me.

The man unlocked the rooms door before moving to the side, letting us look inside.

The walls of the room were a clean maroon color with white carpeted floors.

Our beds where twin sized with drawers under them and we each had our own dressers and a small closet was in the back corner. Two desk were by our beds as well and a small book shelf. Sadly all the furniture was a slick white.

"Hell we have a bathroom." Marisa said as she peaked inside the bathroom.

"I'll have some of the schools football players help you bring your stuff up." The man said.

"Ha ha. No." Marisa said seriously.

"Yeah. I agree." I said.

"Why not?" He asked furrowing his eyebrows.

"Because I can carry my own stuff. And I don't think my boyfriend would agree with that so no thank you." Marisa said before she left the room and headed back down the hallway.

"There ya go." I said before I left the room as well.

-----------------------------------------

"To many things. To lazy." Marisa groaned after she put everything away and shoved her boxes into the top of the closet.

"Amen to that." I said as my phone rung loudly.

"Hello?" I asked.

"Hey baby." A large smile covered my mouth as I heard Luke's voice.

"Hi." I said quieter.

"How's college so far?" He asked.

"It sucks Hemmings. We had to unpack by ourselves!" Marisa shouted from her bed.

"Why didn't you guys ask for help?" Luke asked sounding upset.

"He offered for some football players to help us. But we didn't like that idea." I smiled when he sighed in relief.

"Good." He said as I practically saw him smiling.

"Audrey I'm hungry!" Marisa whined.

"Okay well Marisas being a little bitch so I've got to go." I said annoyed.

"I love you." He said quietly.

"I love you too." I said before hanging up.

Rolling over, I saw Marisa was in a pair of black sweats and a white tee shirt while her hair was in a pony tail.

"Aren't you going to change?" I asked as I slipped on a pair of jean shorts.

"What the hell? No." She said looking horrified.

"Okay I just thought you'd want to change since we're going in public." I put my hands up.

"There's no one here who's opinion I care about except yours." Smiling, I grabbed my phone and wallet before we left the room.

-----------------------------------------

Walking into some Italian restaurant, we found a seat and opened our menus and looked through it before ordering our meal.

Looking up from my phone, I saw a group of jocks looking towards Marisa and I, giving me that sense of self conscious.

Marisa looked at me weirdly before she turned back and saw the jocks. They winked at her making her roll her eyes and flick them off.

"Still a Californian at heart." I laughed as she smiled happily.

"Damn straight." She said as she fixed her headband just as our food arrived.

"Okay well I'll be back. I need to urinate." She said before she got up and walked past the table of jocks and flicked them off once again.

Laughing lightly, I didn't realize one of the jocks had sat at the table until I almost stabbed his hand with my fork.

"Whoa there." He said pulling his hand back.

"What the hell are you doing?" I asked annoyed. Almost tempted to stab his hand.

"Talking to a beautiful girl." He smiled cockily.

"Huh." I grunted taking a drink of my tea.

"Now, what's your name beautiful?" He leaned forward and tried grabbing my hand.

"It's get the fuck out of my seat." I leaned away and smirked as Marisa returned.

"Now that's no way for a lady-" he started.

"I said get the fuck out of my seat. Now." She said slowly. He stood up and his large build towered over Marisa but she didn't stand down.

"Know your place." He said deeply.

"I know my place. It's right there." I laughed when she pointed at her seat were he had been sitting. "You don't know yours. Pretty sure it's over there by the dogs." She said pointing to his friends.

"You bitch." He growled.

"Forever will be." She curtsied before grabbing her drink and taking a drink.

"You're in my terr-" before he could finish, Marisa swung her glass causing it to spill dark soda all over the guys white practice jersey.

"Oh my god." He said shocked.

"Sorry. My hand slipped." Marisa shrugged just as the guys friends rushed over to help their friends ego.

"You're on his hit list now." One of his friends said angrily.

"He can't put something that won't get hit on a hit list." I said before taking a bit of my salad.

"Welcome to Ole Miss." I said as Marisa and I clinked our glass together.
