Audrey's POV

Rolling over for the hundredth time, I looked at the golden pendents like they'd burst into flames or tell me the secrets of the world.

"Okay that's it." Looking up, I saw Marisa was up and already dressed for classes.

"You have been up all night looking at those damn pendents. I swear if I come back after classes and you're not passed out asleep I'm shipping them back to mom. Got it?" She said sternly and I knew not to mess with her.

"Yeah." I nodded my head before shutting the small box. And with that I felt my eyes get heavy.

Yawning loudly, I shut my eyes and snuggled up close with my blankets and pillow before falling into a peaceful sleep.

-----------------------------------------

"You should come down." I heard Marisa whisper quietly, by I was already wide awake.

"Please. It's not like Audrey's going to care." She whispered.

If she is conning Calum to come down here I will kill her before that phone call ends.

"Shut up Mikey. If it makes you feel any better I'll ask her when she wakes up. Bye." She said before hanging up.

Yawning, I rolled over and squished my pillow against my face before groaning loudly.

"Morning woman." Marisa said as she placed a small plate in the small white fridge.

I only groaned.

"Mikey's coming down next week." She informed me.

Giving her a thumbs up I sat up and looked out the window, which was closed, and saw slim rays of light.

"What time is it?" I asked slipping on Luke's black sweatshirt I had taken.

"Almost lunch. Want to get something?" Shaking my head I fell back onto my bed.

"Good because I already got your food." Laughing I thanked her before grabbing my phone and seeing Luke had texted me.

From Luke
Just wanted to tell you we're going on tour in five months and are going to be in Florida.

Smiling, I instantly texted him back saying that was awesome before slipping on a pair of sport shorts.

"Can we get a smoothie?" I asked as I sloppily French braided my hair.

"Yeah there's a smoothie king close or something." She said grabbing her wallet and phone.

Luke's POV

"Guys I'm going out of town for a while." Mikey announced making all of us confused.

"How come?" Ashton asked sounding happier than he probably should, but his son did just learn to hit a drum.

"Well why not? Tour starts soon, so hey, let's have some fun." Mikey shrugged with a smile.

"Where are you going?" Calum asked looking up from his phone the first time since they left for college.

"Oh-uh, Austin, Texas maybe?" He said not knowing.

"Maybe some place in Florida? Not sure."

"Well have fun." Calum gave him a thumbs up with a small smile.

"Do you need help packing?" Ashton asked, which received a hard punch of Kayla.

"Watch it Irwin." She growled before smiling innocently.

"Jeez women." Ashton grumbled rubbing his arm.

"No it's fine. I just need to throw a bag together than I'll be leaving." I nodded at Mikey, but I wasn't all that happy.

He seemed almost rushed to leave for where ever he was going, and did Lucy even know where he was going? Honestly.

Almost like he was hiding something from us all. Ashton didn't seem to care, Calum's on his damn phone all the time, and I'm just here. It's all too confusing.

--------------------------------------

"Bye guys!" Mikey waved before he got in the black car and we watched as it drove out of the parking lot and out of sight.

I sighed.

"What the hell is wrong with you?"

Turning back, I saw Kayla with her arms crossed and pissed off expression as she stared straight at Ashton.

"What?" He asked confused.

"You literally acted like he was some disease." She said angrily.

"No I-" he tried to defend himself but Calum butted in.

"You kind of did man." Calum pointed out getting a death glare from Ash.

"Is it because of-you know?" I asked. Ashton got silent and avoided everyone's eyes. Poor Lucy just looked confused.

Kayla sighed sadly as she stared at her fiancé.

"I know what happened last year was horrible. But it's been a year and if it's still bothering you, I swear I'll force you two to go to counseling." Kayla said with a serious glint in her eye.

"It's not-" he tried but Kayla was not having it.

"I'm not going to continue with the subject." She said.

"But-" Ashton tried again.

"No." Kayla said deathly slow.

"Fine." He said defeated.

The air filled with an awkward silence. Too awkward.

"Now let's get food." Lucy said clapping her hands before grabbing Kayla's arm and pulling her towards her car. Us following behind.
