Their phone. Use their phone.

I checked everywhere for their phone. Patting them down until I found it. Angel wasn't the type to not take their phone everywhere, so it had to be here somewhere. I check their pockets, the hoodie pockets, everywhere.

Could it have fallen?

I checked for my phone. It was secure in my pocket. I gave a little sigh.

Hawks number. They put it on my phone that day. It has to be somewhere here.

I checked through all my calls until I found a number. There it was, a number without a contact. I clicked it, letting the ringing flow through my ears.

Please pick up. Pick up!

-Hello?

-Hawks!

-Y/n!? Is something wrong?

-You need to come to UA now.

They hung up. Angel was still frozen in place. "Angel! Please come back. She's fine you didn't kill her! Please. Please." I slowly started feeling myself breaking down. The hot tears evaporating. Smoke coming from my cheeks.

I fell to the floor. My head was going to burst. Why won't they come back!?

It's all her fault. I should have killed her. I would be happy if I had. I should go kill her. What is the harm? She's already half dead, what is the harm in pushing her a bit more? Yea, I should go.

I got up. My feet dragging on the floor. Leaving black ash. My head felt empty. Great. It'll be easier that way. Dad would be proud. In fact, I'm killing the chief of police daughter. He would be more than delighted to hear that.

My sulking feet were now hurting. I looked down. My shoes were gone, my footprints were imprinted on the ground. My head was going in circles. I couldn't hear anything but my own thoughts. I was focused on one thing and one thing only.

My back. Pokes. Pain.

What was this? Something is poking me and it hurts. It was coming from behind me.

I slowly turned my neck behind me. Hawks was standing beside Angel. My face was now pouring steam from all the tears. I ran at full speed towards him. Hawks was saying something.

I couldn't hear what he was saying. His mouth was just opening, saying meaningless words.

I stared at him. Waiting for them to do something. He was still muttering words. My heavy eyes about to close.

Why isn't he doing anything? Why wasn't he helping Angel? Oh. He doesn't know what happened. Maybe he could help if he knew what happened. But I can't hear him. All I could hear was what seemed like gas being lit on fire.

I have to calm down.

I closed my eyes. Trying to focus on Angel. The noise was going down, just by a bit. I stood there, letting all the heat leave my body.

"Y/n what happened!" Hawks yelled. I could hear.

"Angel went into shock. They almost killed Anaya." I slowly whispered. I glanced at Angel. Their eyes were now glowing white. They were getting brighter and brighter. I looked towards Hawks.

He stood there, a feather in hand. Tears were falling down his own eyes. What was he going to do?

"I'm sorry." Hawks whispered. He lifted the feather. I felt my eyes widened. I let out an arm, trying to stop it.
