Steven was ecstatic to see Connie. The heroes-in-training became aware and cautious around the girl. Connie chuckled nervously and waved at the teacher. Aizawa sighs and mumbles something under his breath as he motions for Steven and Connie to follow him to the principal's office. Steven obviously followed he knew it was to be expected. Connie at the very least was ready to fight these people if needed she was prepared to fight for Steven. When they got to said office Connie was shocked as Steven just gave her a knowing smile.
"We got a new child to deal with, sir," Aizawa said in a monotone, tired voice. Nezu looked towards the man then at Connie. "What's your name?" he asked politely. "My name is Connie, sir, a pleasure to meet you," Connie said back. The creature smiled happily. "She is acceptable you start class tomorrow, for now, have a cup of tea with me." Steven was told to follow Aizawa back to the classroom. He wanted to stay with Connie but he couldn't. He was disappointed, to say the least.
While Connie was with the principal Steven had to introduce himself to the other students in class 1-A. "Hello, my name is Steven Universe. My friend will introduce herself tomorrow." He says calmly. " Everyone gets to know Steven I am going to take a nap," Aizawa said to the class. Everyone bombarded him with questions. One of them being: "What's your quirk?" and "Where are you from?" and other things like; "What's your favorite color? What can you do? How old are you?" That's all he heard.
"Classmates we are being rude to our new Student lets calm down." A blue-haired boy said moving his hands in an up and down motion. Steven seemed
overwhelmed. Some students could say they saw a bit of pink on his cheeks. The bell rang and Steven stood there.
A green-haired boy came over to Steven as the pink lion opened a portal and left. "H-hi I'm Izuku Midyora, nice to meet you." The boy known as Izuku said to the somewhat scared male. "Oh! Hello, it's nice to meet you too." Steven gave a small smile. "Hey Deku! What are you doing?"
A girl with brown hair and pink round cheeks asked. She looked over at Steven and smiled, " Hi I'm Uraraka Ochako. Would you like to eat lunch with us?" Steven blushed but nodded. He knew Connie was used to this but was he? He has never been to an actual school he was always homeschooled and taught by Pearl and Garnet. He was afraid he wouldn't be able to fit in.
As they reach the cafeteria they get in line to get their food. Steven looks and looks around. 'So this is what a school looks like.' Steven smiles to himself. He wasn't really hungry so he went over to the table where he spotted his two new friends and sat next to them. He was then introduced to Todoroki, Iida, and Tsu. He was glad he was able to make new friends. If anyone from home saw this they would be proud. Though Steven was still scared he was going to lose them or be abandoned by them.
They were all chatting until Todoroki asked about Steven's quirk. Steven realized he wasn't able to explain anything to his new classmate. He told the Deku squad about his power. " Well, my Quirk is my um... gem. It gives me the ability to heal, float, and protect myself." I can't really show you right now but when we go outside I can show you I guess." Steven explains and scratches the back of his neck.
After lunch, the students went to training outside. They all go to their locker rooms to get ready. As Steven is changing a boy with yellow hair and a black lightning bolt notices Stevens gem. He looks at it in awe. Soon the other boys notice a small scar on his back. They all turn away when Steven turns to look at them. Bakugou looks at him and scoffs as he walks out with a redhead following him.
The blonde boy and a black-haired boy walk over to Steven. "Hey, dude! I'm Kaminari Denki, nice to meet you." "And I'm Sero Hanta." They introduce themselves. Steven smiles while looking nervous. "Nice to meet you both... um.. but what are we going to do now?" Steven asks and looks around. He is ready and the clueless look on his face gives the fact that he doesn't know what he is doing is obvious. "C'mon follow us. We are training to become heroes.
As they explain and talk to Steven he is more comfortable. "Alright, problem children. Before we start we will see what our two new students have to offer. Nezu wanted to see Steven's and Connie's abilities together. Steven comes upfront."
Steven moves up and hugs Connie. She hugs back and a glowing light engulfs them and they become one person. "Steven?" The person asked. " Oh god!! We fused. I am so so so sorry Connie." Another light pink glow separates them and Steven looks distraught while Connie looks a bit sad. "WHAT THE HELL WAS THAT?" Bakugou yells at them while Aizawa has to stop him from using his quirk. "You too will explain later."
NEZU'S POV-----------------------------------------------------
"Interesting these children are." I smile to myself, that'll be fun let's test the boy and girl a bit more. "Ah, there you are sir. I wanted to talk about the new students. Do you have time?" I nod my head without looking at All Might. "Come on have some tea with me All Might we might have some new promising students."
