—IT HAD BEEN WEEK AND A HALF SINCE ASA HAD SPOKEN TO DIN AND IT WAS STARTING TO SCARE HIM.

Asa wasn't as lively as she was last week. She was harsh toward everyone, even Omera and Winta. Her tone was cold; eyes dark like the black abyss of space; and she trained by herself. If she did train the villagers, Asa spoke like an Imperial officer and demeaned them anyway she could. A lot of the villagers started to hate her and excluded her in everything. Cara noticed her change in behavior and tried her best confront the woman, but all Asa did was reply with "I'm fine."

Din needed her to talk to him and help take care of the child when Omera could not. And, not to mention, it was almost time to take on the raiders, and Asa was nowhere to be found as they prepped for them.

He saw Cara walked toward the wood line, the ex-Rebel trooper stopping at a figure dressed in a black cloak. He guessed it was Asa, and approached the two.

"What's up with you, Lightstick? You went from being a softie to a tyrant in a matter of days?" Cara asked, her eyes narrowed at her.

"Ask him." Asa mumbled, not bothering to look at the approaching Mandalorian. Cara turned her attention to him, eyebrow raised and a hand on her hip.

"What happened?"

In his stubbornness and not giving Asa the satisfaction in being the one to apologize first, Din remained quiet and looked away from Cara. She shook her head, scoffing the two of them before grabbing each of them roughly. Before he knew it, Cara had the two of them in a head lock and their heads were mere inches from each other.

"Cara, let me go. Now!" Asa demanded her gloved hands trying to pry the woman's muscly arms away. Din held onto her and put his hands between her arm and his throat.

"If you two are going to act stubborn and childish, then I will solve this problem by being stubborn and childish. Confess, or else your heads collide."

Asa grunted as she tried to kick her legs and get out of Cara's hold while Din gave up awhile ago.

"Confess, you two. Or else—"

"Mando and I got into a fight last week." Asa grumbled but flinched when Cara hit her head against Din's helmet. The two grunted from the contact.

"So that's why you've been acting like a bitch?" Cara asked, not believing what she was hearing. "You get in a fight and feel the need to take your angers and frustrations out on those around you, huh?"

Din saw Asa look away in shame, her lips pressed in a thin line as she listened to Cara. A part of Din wanted to defend her; tell Cara it's not entirely her fault for her behavior, but even he knew it wasn't right for Asa to do what she did.
