Y/n was definitely confused at this point, it was already Wednesday and ever since Monday she's been being ignored by Irene and of course she had no idea why.

When she would try making conversation the older girl wouldn't respond, if she was next to her line she'd move away, and once again every text she sent was left on read and she hated it.

She told this to Jennie and Seulgi who were just as confused as she was wondering why Irene was acting that way towards y/n. "Well you know now that I think about it she's been acting weird since last week and I still don't know why but even ignoring you?" Jennie states as y/n furrows her eyebrows in frustration.

Seulgi, Jennie, and Y/n literally had no idea whatsoever what was up with their friend and they certainly wanted to know why. They figured that Seulgi and Jennie would ask her sometime after school because from what their younger friend said she would obviously ignore y/n.

Seulgi definitely felt bad for y/n, she saw how she was pout when Irene would turn away from her or how her face would grow with frustration when she'd move away from her. It was never like her before so what was wrong now?

Jennie not only felt bad but was definitely confused. Irene basically confessed herself that she had a crush on y/n, she would turn pink around her and stutter around her like a gushy school girl so what was the problem now? She was pretty sure Irene didn't lie to her so why was she suddenly ignoring her crush as if she was never there in the first place?

Y/n walked through the halls sighing as she put her phone back in her jacket pocket.

She was walking towards her locker until she heard her name from steps behind her "Y/n-ssi!!" she turns around seeing hani skipping a few steps up to her. "God not again" y/n thought. This wasn't the first time this week that Hani had randomly stormed up to her which is another thing she found odd other than Irene ignoring her.

"I just wanted to see how you were doing!" Hani said smiling "innocently" as she glanced up at y/n "uh yea Hani I'm doing alright" she replies trying to seem polite giving her a small smile.

Well unknown to her she probably shouldn't have done that because with each word Hani grew more confident that y/n would actually return her feelings in some way, shape or form, which she couldn't be more wrong about.

"Hey look Hani I can't talk right now I actually have I get to practice-" y/n says trying to get away fast as possible and to her dance practice but of course Hani interrupts.

"Oh yeah! Speaking of your dance practice I can't wait to see you guys perform on Friday!" she says in a lighted gasp as Y/n cringes at her tone nodding once again.

After she finishes whatever she was talking about Y/n made her way to her locker grabbing her shoes for dance practice praying that Hani wouldn't come near her in the next five minutes.

Irene sighed as she walked outside of the school. She was trying her hardest to ignore y/n and she figured it was working after seeing the girls reactions. Like she knew she hated doing what she was doing but she also never wanted to be "exposed" in making out with Kim Taehyung when he had a girlfriend at the time, hell it was his girlfriend in the original photo.

She hated that photoshop existed like literally.

"Hey Irene!" she flinched turning around seeing Seulgi and Jennie walking up to her. She tilts her head in confusion wondering why the two seemed so eager "yes?" She says wondering.

"Why are you constantly ignoring y/n? She seemed so frustrated about it when she told us after lunch." Seulgi explained as Irene's eyes slighted widened.

She didn't wanna tell them the situation because if she told them then they would go to Hani and beat her the hell up and she didn't want her friends getting suspended for something that didn't involve them in the first place.

She was kept quiet until Jennie motioned her hands towards her clearly wanting an answer. Irene sighed realizing she had to tell them or things would get messy as they like to say.

"I'm being blackmailed" she comes out with it bluntly as Seulgi and Jennie raise an eyebrow towards her obviously wanting an explanation.

"Hani is blackmailing me with a photoshopped photo of me and Taehyung kissing and if I speak to y/n until she confesses to her she'll post the photo-" Irene says as she feels her chest tighten.

"I'm about to beat this bitch up"

Jennie said the last line by the way. The word of the day is frustrated because I love emphasizing the r when saying it. Also I'm ending this book at 34 chapters

Also I would just like to say as a black person in America what's going on in the state capital is all the way fucked up and it's the way that the police are practically doing nothing about it when literal TERRORIST are in their presence but when a black person wants to talk to them about their rights they get shot. I just really hope things can progress better in some way some how because this is just fucking ridiculous.
