Y/n was sitting at her side table drawing a few things here and there in her baggy sweatpants and a white shirt. She wanted to keep herself occupied from going downstairs because her parents were going to lecture her about how she should act in front of the Bae family, she was nice and comfortable until she felt her tummy growl. She looked down and frowned a bit knowing she resist the attention of food especially when she's hungry. She closed her sketchbook and walked downstairs as quietly as she could only to be recognized by her father. "Ah morning kid" she heard her dad's deep voice. "Oh morning dad" she said with a small grin but them dropped when she saw her mother coming in "Oh Y/n dear your awake, I was wondering you were gonna wear for the dinner tonight" her mother questioned. "Well clothes I guess" The short haired girl said shrugging. "Are you serious Y/n?" Her mother questioned with disbelief written on her face. "Please just try to look decent for once for a dinner" her mother said in a begging tone. 'No' was the only thing on the young girl's mind, she wasn't gonna just dress up for some people she didn't exactly know but she knew she had to deal with it.

That night the Bae beauty was letting her sister put in her earrings for the dinner, sadly Kai had gotten sick so the maids (Sunmi and Hyuna) would keep him company but at this time she was letting her sister Taeyeon put in her earrings for the dinner tonight. After the girls said goodbye to Kai they went into the car with their parents enjoying the ride. "Are you girls ready for tonights dinner?" their mother said with a small grin. The girls responded with a 'yes!' but to be honest Irene was pretty nervous she already embarrassed herself in front of Jennie's friend so doing it again with someone else would be even more embarrassing.
A good 20 minutes later the family arrived a pretty large white house. They stepped out the car and their mother rang the doorbell to be greeted by another woman near her age which was obviously Mrs.Lee.
Irene's POV
My mom knocked on the door to be greeted by another woman near her age which I'm guessing is Mrs.Lee because they started hugging and stuff. We went inside to be greeted with Mr.Lee who then bowed to us. "How was your ride?" Mrs.Lee asked with a smiling expression "it was a good drive Jinji!" my mother replied, our parents started talking when what looked like Yoona came down the stairs. "Hey Taeyeon! Hey Joohyun!" Yoona said hugging us which I kindly excepted. After I pulled away from the hug I glanced at the staircase noticing someone else in a slight baggy black dress shirt with black pants was walking down the stairs.
No..fucking..way..
3rd POV
The bunny was shocked to see the one and only Y/n from two nights ago. And when Y/n had saw her she gave off the same expression. "Oh! guys this is my younger sister Y/n!" Yoona said smiling with her arm around the girls shoulder. "well~ let's go up to my room until the food is ready" Yoona continued she walked up the stairs, while Joohyun had walked up she didn't know if she was dreaming but Y/n had given her a wave and small smile just like before. The girl quickly waved back with a mirrored expression due to shock.
When they were in Yoona's room Taeyeon and Yoona sat on the bed while Y/n and Joohyun sat on the beanbags. It was awkward so the elder from the two started to scroll on her phone until she heard a voice. "Joohyun right?". "W-what?" the girl answered being surprised she was being talked too. "Your Jennie's friend and your name was Joohyun wasn't it?" the short-haired girl asked in question "Yeah sorry it is..and your Y/n right?" she asked quietly the younger nodded and smiled. "What were you looking at?" the girl asked with a head tilt. "O-oh! I was just scrolling through social media..?" the girl asked with a shy tone. "So why is it on your homescreen?" Y/n asked and when Irene didn't responded and only put her head down Y/n laughed lightly. "Jennie unnie was right, you are shy" she said with another small laugh. "Jennie unnie? your younger than her?" Irene asked a bit surprised. "I'm younger than everyone except for Lisa and Yeri." she said brushing her hair back.
A few quiet minutes later Y/n said she had to go to the bathroom so she went. When the younger girl left Joohyun let out a breathe she thought she holding for years.
The girls heard Mrs.Lee call out for them because dinner was then ready. They all went downstairs where Joohyun saw Y/n setting up the dinner table for people, the girl sat down waiting for everyone else to and not that she was surprised Y/n ended up sitting right next to her.

They all were eating until the adults started to ask questions "So Y/n are you going to that YME Academy for school this year?" Mrs.Bae asked the girl which she nodded to. "Oh really! Joohyun is going there aswell!" she says smilling all giddy. "Soo Irene aren't you dating Chanyeol? hows that going?" her unnie Yoona had asked "Oh! we are fine he's been a good boyfriend for the past two years" she responded with a smile "What about you Y/n? are you dating?" Taeyeon asks "Uh no I'm not dating eh.." Y/n says rubbing her neck shly. "aww that's too bad because your really cute and attractive I'm surprised nobody has dated you in a while" Taeyeon says fixing the girls hair "Ah thank you unnie" Y/n says smiling.
After dinner the girls went around picking up some dishes mostly Yoona and Y/n and insisted for the others not to help since they were guest. While the young Bae was stubborn and grabbed a plate to put in the sink she felt another hand which seemed a bit bigger than hers on her arm. "No unnie your the guest you don't need to do anything" Y/n smiled at her elder. Irene froze and nodded and then slowly started to let go of the plate which Y/n laughed at. "What's so funny?" Taeyeon asked "Nothing your sister is just cute that's all" Y/n smiled while then taking the plate walking to the sink.
Joohyun turned pink and turned away back onto her phone sitting on the couch. She wanted to take her mind off of the embarrassment she just went through. After awhile she felt the couch sink a bit to see Y/n once again. "Hey" the girl said "O-oh hi" she responded internally face palming herself. "I'm sorry if I made you uncomfortable back there" Y/n says playing with the end of the sleeves. "oh no it's fine I just didn't expect for you to say that" Irene says with a small smile looking down. "heh I just expected for you to be called that especially when you have a boyfriend and stuff" Y/n shrugs. They both sat on the couch while their families socialized. Irene would glance at Y/n from time to time only to see her not feeling the same awkward tension she does.
She didn't know why but still after this she was still shy and awkward around Y/n she didn't know if it was because of her voice or her somewhat confidence she just didn't know. All she knew was that she wanted the night to be over and done with.
