She woke up to sunlight shining into her eyes from her half opened blinds, Irene rubbed her eyes before having the strength to get up from her comfy bed. She walked into her bathroom undressing and making her way into the shower making herself at peace. When walking back to her bedroom in a bathrobe she checked her phone realizing she had gotten messages from one of her closet friends Kim Jennie. 'Hey Baechuu~~ I hope your still coming to the restaurant' was what it read so she gladly responded to the younger girl, 'gm Jendukie~ and yea I'm still coming at 5~'.

After sending the text she had worn some sweatpants with a babygirl pink shirt. She walked into the kitchen only to be greeted by her sister and mother, "Good morning Joohyun" her mother had said "Morning Rene~" her unnie Tayeon had said sweetly. She answered with a smile and bow only to receive a box of strawberry pocky "Thank you unnie" Irene answered sitting down at the kitchen table. Into the kitchen came Kai with messy hair in his blue pj's like the little Babyboy he is (uwu).

Y/n woke up with a groan and twist and turn since she wasn't a morning person unlike her sister who was opening her door to only giggle seeing the position her younger sister was in. "Grapes~ wakey wakey~" her older sister Yoona had called. She always called you 'Grapes' because of a picture you two shared, it was when you were 4 and she was 7 and when your mom had took the picture she was smiling while your mouth was full with grapes and ever since a nickname for you would be grapes and for revenge you named her yogurt.

"Hmph" was the only response that Yoona was getting she knows Y/n doesn't like getting woken up but she chose to wake her up so Y/n can get use to getting up earlier since school did start in a month for her. "Y/n wake up come on mom made food for us and you should wake up before it gets cold ok?" Yoona said with a eye-brow raise. A mumbled "ok" was heard from the short-haired girl. Yoona walked out of the room leaving Y/n in her bed to get up which she did. She went into her bathroom taking about a 15 minute shower only to get out and get dressed into a fitted black short sleeve and black sweatpants. The black short sleeve showed a little bit a buff to Y/n's arms.

Y/n was eating her steamed with rice while scrolling on her phone realizing she was supposed to go to the restaurant at 5 apparently meeting 'new friends' which Y/n face palmed to meeting new people which was something she hated socializing she really didn't see the point. But she was gonna do this because she would do about anything her friends would think is best for her so she would do it so she could get it over with.

It was already 4:25 so Irene decided to get ready she went to take another shower to then put on a peach blouse crop top and black pants and brushing her hair to make it a bit more wavy and then adding pearl white earrings for a touch. She put on her black vans and waiting for Seulgi to pick her up so they could go together.

A few minutes later her doorbell rung and opened it to find her dancer friend at the door with a smile "Hey Seul~" Irene had said with a small smile "Unnie! hey! ready to go?" she responded, she answered with a nod. They walk to the car and Irene was in for a surprise only to find her younger friends in the car with Seulgi, Wendy in shot gun and Joy and Yeri in the back waving with pretty smiles. Irene climbed in the back on the end so they could finally leave to go meet Jennie.

"So you girls ready to meet Jennie and her other friends" Irene had said in the front seat since before she had forced Wendy to switch with her "Well I like socializing so of course!" the maknae Yeri responded with a smile. "Yea I'm ready I'm tired of you guys anyway" Joy says with a teasing eye roll earning a arm slap from Wendy with a "yah!" making the others laugh at the two. Enjoy the rest of their ride.

20 minutes later

They arrived at the place to see it doesn't seem to be as crowded, Irene looked around and saw the one and only Jennie waiting at the door in a blue blouse and black shorts. "Jennie!" Irene yells getting the brown haired girls attention. Jennie walked up to the 5 girls waving with a kind smile "Hi! You must be Irene unnie's friends!" Jennie says making the girls smile and nod. "I'm Kang Seulgi its good to meet you Jennie!" she says giving a bear smile making the girl laugh. "Hi there! I'm Son Seungwan but you can call me Wendy" Wendy had said bowing "Hello~ I'm Park Sooyoug but you can call me Joy!" she says with a smile "even though she isn't one" the younger one had said earning a slap to the arm making her laugh "Hiya! I'm the youngest of the 5 of us and my name is Kim Yerim but I'm more used to Yeri" she says with a smile. Jennie laughed lightly at the girls introduction. "Nice to meet you all! Well come on so you girls can come meet my girls!" Jennie says leading them to their table inside.

"Oh Jennie your finally back!" Jisoo said but seeing the 5 girls behind her she smiled "You girls must be  Jennies friends!". Jennie nods ready to introduce them, "This is Kim Yerim aka Yeri , Park Sooyoung aka Joy, Son Seungwan aka Wendy, Kang Seulgi and Bae Joohyun aka Irene" Jennie said. Jennie gave them the o.k signal to introduce themselves. "Hi there! I'm Kim Jisoo~ nice to meet you!" she says with a heart smile, "Hi~ I'm Park Chaeyoung but you can call me Rose' if you'd like~" she says in a light tone "Hello! I'm Lalisa Manoban but you can call me Lisa for short" Lisa says with a bow. "Hi um I'm Lee Y/n" she says with a short wave but with a small grin. When sitting down Irene sits between Jennie and Wendy and infront of Y/n who is in between Seulgi and Rose'. Seulgi, Lisa and Y/n talked to each other figuring out the 3 like to dance and the others find out they have other things most likely in common.

When they starting eating their food and talking again Irene was eating peacefully looking around the table until seeing the younger girl in front of her realizing she was the only one she didn't exactly talk to eve though they were their for a good hour already. She didn't notice she was staring at the girl until the girl had looked up from her plate to see her elder looking at her which caused her to raise an eyebrow which made Irene jump a bit into surprise and looking downwards at her food with a bit of blush from embarrassment.

When leaving they all said bye to each other giving one another hugs and laughs goodbye except Irene and Y/n because when it was Irene's turn to say goodbye to Y/n she realized the younger didn't notice which gave her time to rush to the car pretending she was in a hurry.

Irene didnt understand why she was so awkward and shy she hated it but she hated it mostly because she realized Y/n had made friends or at least talked to the other girls but her which of course she blamed on her shyness. But she decided not to bring it up in her mind and maybe just avoid the awkwardness from earlier that night.
