It was already 4 in the afternoon when Jennie, Irene, Joy and Rosè had met Jisoo at her house with their clothes they purchased from the mall the day before.

They were all in Jisoo's room watching a movie on her bed when Jennie walked in the room with two boxes of pocky and a mint green box. Handing the pocky out Joy points to the other box in her hands "What's that Jennie?" she says taking a bite out of the strawberry dipped pocky stick. The girl flashes a gummy smile before raising the box up "These are some face masks that I think we should use before the party." She says taking one out and passing the box around.

After applying their face masks Rosé makes a "ooo" tone with her mouth "These kinda sting but feel nice" she says touching her covered forehead from the mask. Irene giggles at the girl "Yea they feel kinda minty" she says agreeing with the girl's comment.
Jennie lets out a chuckle with a small eye roll "Ok guys since the party starts at 8 we should all be ready by at least 7:30, so let's start getting dressed" she states getting her bag from near the door.

The rest of the girls got their bags and started undressing from their robes. It had already been a good 30 minutes when most of the girls were already half dressed "Rosé can you button the back of my shirt" Jisoo said pointing at her velvet red shirt with the dark red maroon button on the back. The strawberry blonde girl nods fixing the straps of her light pink dress.

Irene fixes the bottom of her skirt flattening the material out as Jennie pops up behind her "Trying to impress someone Joohyun" she says smirking catching the others attention "Ooo who is it unnie?" Jisoo says clueless as Jennie rolls her eyes "guess".

"That Taehyung dude?" "He has a girlfriend now"

"Oh! Oh! I know is it Sehun?!" "Didn't he transfer?"

"No no wait is it Doyoung?" "Isn't he gay?"

"Oh yea he is"

Joy rolls her eyes watching Jisoo and Rosé go back and forth for a short amount of time "No gosh darn it" Jennie says huffing as Irene chuckles shaking her head. Jisoo faces the rest asking "Well can you just tell us, Joohyun?" Jisoo says folding her arms.

Joohyun heavily sighs as she locks focus on the ground feeling embarrassed. Seeing that the 4 others wanted an answer she mustered the courage finally having the strength "Y/n..." she says basically whispering but it was surely heard. As she still stared at the ground gasps and applause were heard from above "I KNEW IT" Sooyoung said high fiving Jennie.

"Ok ok calm down" Rosé says seeing as her elder friend seemed flustered as it was "We have to do our hair and makeup so we can be ready on time" she states having the others agree.

"Are y'all even ready?!" Seulgi says rolling her eyes spinning the chain of the car keys on her slender index finger. Hearing foots steps rushing down Lisa and Wendy charge downstairs almost out of breathe, halting as they stood up straight "Sorry we're late madam" Lisa says playfully bowing having Wendy crackle.

Seulgi huffs complaining "Where's Yeri and Y/n?" she says folding her arms unpleased "Y/n is helping Yeri with her hair" Wendy answers grabbing a drink of water from her fridge. A few seconds later as is summoned following footsteps were heard making the trio look to the stairs seeing the younger two finally coming down.

"Thank the gods you slow pokes are finally done" Seulgi says clapping like a five year old who won a pony. Y/n rolling her eyes points her thumb at Yeri "blame her, she couldn't do shit by herself" Y/n argues having Yeri slap her arm huffing.

They all walk out the house to meet with an orange sky as it was around 7:45. They scurry into the car able to fit them all as Seulgi shoves the keys in and starts the engine. "This party better be amazing, if not that means I got dolled up for literally nothing" Yeri says turning to the window having Wendy nod.

"Do y'all not know who Hyolyn is? Her parties are the only reason I like the school year" Lisa states exaggerating a necessary amount. Y/n nods suddenly glancing out the window as well.

It had been 20 minutes of driving when they finally made it to the address of the party planner. When the 5 girls got out of the car they were met with their other 5 friends who seemed to be waiting on them "Your finally here" Joy said sarcastically having Seulgi huff "Blame them and plus it's only 8:15 so get your titties out of a twist" she said having Joy narrow her eyebrows deeply.

They head inside of the house closing the door behind them stepping into a whole different war zone. Purple lights were laminating off of people's bodies and the smell of alcohol had already hit the girls noses. It wasn't as crowded but like they said seconds ago it was only 8:15 going on 8:16 so more guests were bound to come.

Y/n turned to her sides seeing how most of her friends already went into partying mode expect for Irene who was still staring at the crowd as new comers came in as well. Her brown eyes were glistening as the purple lights reflected from her pale face. She turned slightly making eye contact with Y/n as she smiled making her grin back.

"Have you ever been to a party?" Joohyun asked over the loud music "Yea, you?" Y/n says taking her hand and moving her into the crowd. Seconds went by as Irene shook her head as she was amused with the slight contact and gestures. Slowly but surely she started dancing with the taller female, from time to time they would both make eye contact with each other and noticed how ethereal both of them looked in each other's eyes.

Y/n always looked so pretty to Irene but after she accepted the feelings she had for her it was like Y/n's appearance turned more lively. She takes in her details seeing how she's changed over at least the last few months. Her short hair was now mid length having her hair flow more complementing her face, her jawline was sharper than when she had met her making her seem more mature.

Everything about the night was great so far and Irene rarely went to parties as is but if they continued to be like this she'd go to them more often. It wasn't until 20 something minutes later Joohyun told Y/n she felt thirsty so they made their way to the kitchen to go and get a drink.

The kitchen wasn't as crowded as the main room was and the music was mainly muffled. Some pink liquid was on the marble counters and some red cups were on the floor, Y/n saw how the counters contained mostly of alcohol so she looked in the fridge and took out a gallon of grape juice.

Irene sat in a wooden chair with a leather cushion as she watched Y/n fill two red plastic cups with grape juice and putting the container back. "Here you go Hyunie" Y/n smiles handing the smaller girl the medium sized cup. As Y/n was about to open her mouth to speak her phone vibrated in her pocket, reaching for it she sees a text from Lisa.

"I'll be right back Lisa needs me real quick, be safe!" Y/n says rushing out the kitchen. Irene eyes her sipping her cup smiling after she heard those words come from the girl's mouth.

She started thinking about how she told the other girls how she liked Y/n and how pumped and excited they seemed when she told them. Sighing with a smile on her face she takes another sip from her cup almost running out of juice as she feels a tap on the shoulder.

"You're back? That was qui-" she says turning around stopping mid sentence. Her dull eyes widened seeing who had tapped her shoulder and she didn't know whether she should scream, cry, or run but her body just froze.

"C-Chanyeol..."

I'm sorry you had to wait so long for this boring chapter but I'll try to make the next one better 🤧.
Oh and how do y'all feel about blackpink's comeback because I think the music video was great but the song needs to really grow on me.
