ZACH

After 30 minutes of driving, we finally arrived.

I looked over Penelope who is fast asleep. I've probably said this a million times, but she is really like a whole new person when she's sleeping. Her face is so peaceful and she's not snoring unlike earlier this morning.

Anyway, the weather is perfect for what I planned for today.

I should probably wake her up now.

"Penelope?" No response.

"Penelope?" I called out again and tried to poke her in her shoulders.

Wow, this girl is a heavy sleeper.

This time, I tried to shake her up, "PENELOPE!"

And finally she woke up  glaring at me.

Oh no, trouble! Brace yourself, Zach!

"WHAT IS WRONG WITH YOU, ZACHARY?!"

"Sorry, I was just trying to wake you up."

"Whatever! Where are we anyway?"

"Farm." I responded and went outside the car.

"What? What Farm?" I heard her ask as I closed my door.

Today will be fun!

I walked towards the entrance and saw Mang Thomas, the mechanic expert. He also owns this farm that we are currently at.

He waved at me and I waved back at him. He's actually expecting us today. And he is part of the plan that I have for Penelope. He already knows what to do.

"Zach? What are we doing in a farm anyway?" Penelope asked as she stepped out the passenger seat.

"So, she's Penelope?" Mang Thomas asked.

"The one and only." I responded.

Penelope walked towards me and was about to continue asking when she saw Mang Thomas.

"Who is he?" She whispered to me.

"Penelope, this is Mang Thomas. Mang Thomas, Penelope."

Mang Thomas extended his hand for a handshake but immediately took it away as soon as Penelope extended her hand.

"Oh, sorry. Maybe you don't want handshakes. My hands are dirty." He joked and I tried so hard not to laugh.

Let's see how Penelope handles this.

"What? No! It's totally fine. Here." She extended her hands to Mang Thomas and they shook hands. "Nice to meet you."

Mang Thomas looked at me raised an eyebrow. I just shrugged.

I  honestly didn't expect her reaction.

"Mang Thomas is actually the person I called last Saturday to come and fix your car."

She looked at me in disbelief and turned to him, "Wow, thank you very much! Is my car okay now? Where is it?"

"I'm still checking on it. It's in the warehouse. I can't say it is 100% okay but it's getting better."

Penelope clapped her hands in delight, "That's a great news! Thank you so much! So, how much will I pay you?"

Ladies and Gentlemen, this is where it gets exciting.

"Dear, there's this quote that goes, "A rich man isn't one who owns a lot of things," and I completed the quote together with Mang Thomas, "A rich man is a person who needs the least to be happy."
