My first two nights at the manor went by normally, or at least as normal as they could be with the location I was staying in.

The room Cissy offered me was dark and gloomy, but luckily only one room over from Draco. Naturally, I slept in his room instead.

While staying in the home Draco grew up in for only 2 nights, I've already learned do much about his childhood. Turns out, he's a crazy Momma's boy, but I'm not completely surprised. Draco is really a softie, I know it.

Today is my last full day at the manor, and Draco claims he has big plans. Not far from his home, he continuously tells me of this enchanted forest, like the ones in fairy tales. I didn't even think there was such a thing until he would not shut up about it, but it was adorable to see him obsess over something as simple as a forest.

I was sitting at the manor dining room, accompanied by Cissy. Draco had just woken up, and clearly was taking far too long to come join us for breakfast.

My first morning here, I quickly learned Narcissa was quite the cook, and I expected it. Every meal I've eaten has been better than anything I'm served back home - sorry Father- and I'm going to be devastated to leave.

Although the home is intimidating, I've gotten used to the gloominess, somewhat. I've always liked the darkness, but I'm not a dark person. It isn't suiting.

"I wonder what's taking him so long?" Narcissa chimes, slicing into her assortment of fruit placed on the plate before her.

Trying not to be awkward, "It is strange, I saw him up before I came down."

"Hmm," Narcissa hums, continuing to cut into her fruits. Breaking the silence, we hear footsteps coming from where the staircase is located. It must me Draco.

Nearly in sync, Cissy and I lift our heads in the direction of the dining room entrance. Just as we look up, Draco confidently steps into the gloomy room wearing a suit.

My apologies, let me correct myself.

A bright, light blue, button down shirt with his usual black dress pants. Not to mention his hair was combed, but no product, which rarely happens. Draco always puts some sort of gel in his hair because he likes it better, but I've always loved his natural hair more.

"Surprise," he grins. I had never seen a man more beautiful than him in this very moment. "You better get ready, we're leaving shortly," he spins around, and heads back towards the stairwell, a hand in his pocket and a grin on his face.

I stare as he turns the corner, still a bit stunned by his entrance. I clear my throat, "Thank you for breakfast, Cissy."

"Of course! Now you go get all dolled up for your day!" she grins, rising from the table. I stand as she reaches to take my plate, and heads off towards the kitchen.

I skid off to my room on the next level, and quickly begin to rummage through my trunk of clothes. I knew over packing would come in handy.

I didn't expect our trip to an enchanted forest to be formal, but I have to match Draco's energy. A plain sun dress will do!

I continue to dig and dig until I find exactly what I'm looking for. A white cotton dress, accompanied by an assortment of red and yellow flowers, with two strings on either side to act as straps. It was perfect.

I throw the dress over my head and attempt to tie the straps as nicely as I possibly can. I rush over to my night stand where I had placed a black headband and some earrings, which i throw on as well. I didn't bother putting on any makeup, it was useless since Draco only ever sees me without makeup nowadays.
