The chill of fall was coming quick, and of course my dumb ass forgot my coat. Draco, being the person he is, lent me his as we walked to Hogsmeade.

Now that Draco and I's 'thing' was public, Draco didn't mind showing affection. We walked the whole way with his arm around my waist. However, I did notice he dropped his arm a few times if we passed specific people. This made me angry, but I knew he had a long way to go.

"Draco, I never asked, where are we going?" I ask as we come upon the entrance of the plaza.

He stops walking to answer me, "Madame Puddifoot's of course!" he exclaims. My jaw drops, but then I quickly close it.

"You didn't tell me we were going for tea?" I joke. He only laughs and continues on our path. Soon he takes his arm off of me.

"Here," he stretches his arm before me, "take my hand." I look to his hand, then back to him as a soft smile widens across his lips. Not sure what he'll do, I take his hand, and within seconds, he's pulling me off into the ruckus of people around us. Our feet clunk onto the paved stone while giggles emit from our mouths.

I haven't felt so happy in so long.

Even though I was happy, I felt guilty. My brother was back at Hogwarts doing Merlin knows what. Not to mention my brother was just announced to be putting his life at risk just to 'go down in history'.

I couldn't let my worrying ruin this moment. Besides, I've never seen a young man so happy.

He was laughing like never before, and if he's happy, I'm happy.

How can a single human being be so beautiful?

The wind of the early fall breeze blew through his hair as we skipped through alley ways, until we came upon Madame Puddifoot's. Draco's hair was messy from running through the streets.

He turns to face me, panting from our run. His eyes are soft as he grabs my hands that rest by my sides.

"Did I mention you looked beautiful today," he whispers, then places a kiss on my forehead. A smile widens across my lips from his remark.

"I must say the same about yourself," he slings his arm around me as we inch towards the door. An elder witch is waiting, assumingly taking orders and reservations.

"May I help you?" she asks. The woman is short, with rosy cheeks and brown hair, hinted with grey. She stands behind a tall desk on a step stool, just tall enough for us to see her shoulders.

Draco steps forward to the reception desk, as I follow. "I made a reservation for 2:30? Sorry we're a bit late," Draco squeezes my shoulder meaning It's your fault we're late!

"Ah yes, Malfoy! Follow me!" she exclaims, cheerfully. She steps down from her stool and starts into the French-like tea house. I hadn't ever been to a place so nice, I'm not sure how to act!

As we enter the shop, the scent of baked goods fills my nostrils. Although my nose was pleased, my eyes were not, except for Malfoy of course. The bright pink color was in every nook and cranny of the room.

We sit down at our table, by the window. "Its much more... pink in here than I last remember," Draco snarls. I laugh a bit at his comment, as he does too.

"How come you took me out today?" I ask. "There has to be a reason."

As I question him, the woman comes by and hands us our menus, but I don't bother looking at mine yet, I wanted a reply.
