Tuesday came and I was actually really happy. The first day of school turned out great, and I was sure the second day might even be better.

I woke up around five thirty in the morning and showered. This time, I chose my clothes the night before so that I wouldn't have to spent ten minutes searching again. I put on a navy blue shirt with PlayStationNetwork written across it, blue jeans, and black Nike's.

Going downstairs, I found mum standing at the stove, cooking breakfast. It smelled amazing.

"Morning," I said as I walked in, taking a seat at the kitchen table. She turned her head to look at me and smiled.

"Morning, Niall," she said, turning back to the stove. I watched as she made scrambled eggs, bacon, biscuits, and sausage. Everyone else soon made their ways into the kitchen. We all sat at the table and enjoyed the food mum cooked.

When we got to school, I once again nervously messed with my hair. Not having a mirror on me was really messing me up. I needed to buy one soon.

I jumped a bit and tightened my tail around my leg when Bree took a seat beside me during homeroom again. I had actually forgotten all about her.

"Hey Niall," she said, dropping her multicoloured backpack to the floor.

"Hi," I said back softly.

"How did your day go yesterday?" she asked.

"Really great," I answered.

"That's good. Well hey...this may seem too forward, but I was wondering if I could get your number. Maybe we could make plans to hang out sometime." My face flushed and I looked down at my desk, embarrassed.

"I don't uh... have a phone." She gasped.

"Why not?" I shrugged.

"I'll see if I can get one, though," I promised. "And when I do, I'll give you my number." She smiled.

Once the bell rang, I rushed down the hallway to European History. I walked in and noticed I was the third to arrive, and Harry wasn't there. I started feeling worried, wondering if Harry was even at school. Thankfully, he walked in a minute after my mini panick attack.

"Hey Niall," he greeted, sitting behind me and drapping his bag on the back of the chair. "You're going to the park with us after school, right?" I nodded.

Right before the bell rang, Louis rushed into the classroom. It was odd since he hadn't been in our class the first day. He smiled when he spotted us and came to the back and took the seat beside me.

"What're you doing here?" I asked him once he dropped his bag beside his desk.

"I switched from Ancient History," he explained. "There's no way I'm listening to Mr. Hampton drag on about those damn Mesopotamians."

"European History isn't much better," Harry told him.

"Yeah, but this class is required for graduation."

Mr. Wilson came in a few minutes late with his cheeks flushed and his black button up undone. He looked like he was in a rush and completely flustered. He mumbled an apology saying how he had woken up late. He called role and noticed Louis seated in the back beside me.

"And you are?" He asked, raising an eyebrow.

"Louis Tomlinson. I was switched into here this morning. Mrs. Lyles said she sent you an email." Mr. Wilson nodded and proceeded to open his laptop where he searched through his emails, finding the one from Mrs. Lyles that addressed Louis would be switched into his class.
