It felt weird for me, being back in Ireland. After taking my first step out of the airport, I saw exactly what I had missed about the country. Of course, it was a bit cold and sometimes a bit gloomy out, but it was the beautiful country I was raised in.

Greg picked me and dad up from the airport, excited to see me again. He pulled me in for a tight hug, telling me all about how much he missed me.

"I met a wonderful girl," Greg told me. "I met her after we were separated. She's amazing. Her name is Denise. She lives with me, and we're engaged." I was surprised. I didn't understand why Greg was just now mentioning her and not done it back when he found it me months before. Maybe it had to do with the fact that dad and I were to stay at his for the time being.

The drive to Mullingar was a bit long, around two hours. I was surprised to hear that Greg had moved back there after turning eighteen, bringing Denise along with him.

When we finally made it to Greg's, I was ready to just head back to bed. I was tired, only have around five hours of sleep after falling asleep at an early hour in the morning then having to wake just a few hours later.

"Are you hungry?" Greg asked as we all walked through the front door. I shook his head while dad nodded his.

"Can you show me where I'll be staying?" I asked. Greg nodded his head and showed me down the hallway. We ran into a woman, whom I assumed was Denise.

"You must be Niall," she said, smiling at me. I nodded my head.

"I'm Denise." We shook hands, and she began to tell me that Greg talked about me often, almost as if he were praising me. I noticed Greg blush as he mumbled for Denise to hush, then we headed to the room.

"You'll be here." As soon as he opened the door, I headed straight for the bed, lying down and sighing heavily with a smile on my face.

"I'll come wake you later, all right?" I nodded my head, closing my eyes and quickly drifting off to sleep.

-

"Niall!" I jolted up at the sound of my voice being yelled out. I looked to my left to see Greg standing there, along with my dad, both with worried looks on their faces.

"Are you all right?" Dad asked, sitting on the bed beside me and rubbing my back. I nodded my head, confused as to why he was asking.

"Why wouldn't I be?" I asked, looking up at him with a confused face.

"You were whining in your sleep," he told me. "You screamed a couple times as well. Scared Greg and myself half to death, you did."

"I'm sorry," I told them both. "I don't know what came over me..."

"I think it had to do with mum and dad," Greg said, rubbing his arm. "I promise Niall, we're going to make sure they don't get out of there. I have a lawyer who's coming out in the morning. We're going to discuss everything then." I nodded my head, understanding.

"So, you two hungry? Denise is a wonderful cook." Dad and I nodded our heads jus ta moment before my stomach let out a loud rumble.

The following morning, we all awoke early. The lawyer Greg hired, a man by the name of Stephen Finn, informed Greg that he would be coming around ten in the morning. Dad had come into my room around eight thirty, telling me I needed to get out of bed and shower then come to the kitchen for breakfast.

So that's what I did. I took myself a quick shower, making sure to clean myself well. Once I got out, I slipped on a white t-shirt and blue jeans. I towel-dried my hair and combed it to cover my ears and tucked my tail away in my pants. After I finished getting ready, I headed down the hallway, into the kitchen, where everyone was seated, besides Denise. She was slaying over a hot stove, cooking us breakfast. I felt a bit bad, her having to cook for us so often.
