On Friday, I woke in the best mood ever. I was really excited about my date with Harry. Throughout the week, I couldn't get him to tell me where we were going, and it was making me more anxious.

I took a shower around five forty five, washing for an extra five minutes to make sure I smelled really good.

I dressed myself in a pair of blue jeans, a white and green plaid button up shirt, and white high top converse. After that, I put on deodorant, fixed my hair, and sprayed myself with cologne, then headed downstairs to Liam and the rest of the family.

I had decided this morning, with the help of Liam encouraging me all week, to come out to everyone. It was hard for me to work of the courage to do it. What if they didn't want a gay son? What if they decided to kick me out? It terrified me, but Liam promised me they'd be okay with it.

Liam had gone down a bit before me to gather everyone in the living room. I slowly went down, making sure everyone was there, then made my way in.

"What is it you want to tell us, Niall?" Mum asked. I took a deep breath, thinking of how to start my sentence off.

"This is really difficult for me," I said. "This is probably the hardest thing to tell your family. I... you all know Harry, mine and Liam's friend. We uh... he and I like each other. I'm actually going on a date with him after school this evening... So I guess what I'm saying is, I'm... gay." I closed my eyes after I finished speaking, too afraid to see what their reactions would be.

"Really proud of you, Ni," I then heard Ruth say. I felt a hand on my shoulder and opened my eyes to see her standing there, smiling down at me. Slowly, everyone else joined, pulling me into a group hug.

"That was a brave thing you did," mum told me. "We're very proud of you." I was so relieved everyone reacted so well with my sexuality.

When I got to school, I went to my homeroom and saw that Bree was once again not there. She hadn't been there all week, and I was starting to get worried.

I spent my entire homeroom completely bored with no one to talk to. I basically just impatiently waited for thirty minutes to go by, which happened agonizingly slow.

I walked to first period quickly, excited to see Harry. I love being around him. He made me feel so amazing.

When I walked in, Harry and Louis were there, chatting away. I took my usual seat in front of Harry, causing him to look away from Louis and at me.

"Hey babe," he said, grabbing my hand and placing a soft kiss on the top. I blushed, whispering back a hello.

"You excited for later?" He asked. I nodded my head. I couldn't wait for later. I just wished he would tell me where we were going.

"What're you guys doing?" Louis asked. Harry leaned toward him and whispered in him ear, making me frown and huff.

"Awww cute!" Louis said once Harry finished telling him.

"Sorry babe," Harry said to me. "You'll just have to wait."

I spent my class anxiously waiting to be dismissed. I wanted the school day to hurry up and end. We were going on our date at six, that gave me time to go home and shower again, then change into some nicer clothes.

Once first period was dismissed, Harry and I walked out together, and he walked me down the hall to my second period.

"See you at lunch," he told me, kissing my cheek then walking off. I smiled as I walked into my maths class.

I sat down at got to work, a bit annoyed with the maths problems we were working on. I really needed to get Harry to help me with it. I just didn't understand it, and I knew he was in an advanced class and knew a lot about it.
