Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday were average boring days. I sat around in my classes anxiously waiting to go back home. I was starting to understand why people didn't like school very much. The days were long, the teachers were boring, and people were pretty hateful. At the end of each day, I was glad to be at home, lying in bed and cuddling a pillow.
I had luckily gotten permission to stay and go to the lake with Harry, so when Friday came, I couldn't be more excited. I woke up on Friday morning and took my usual morning shower, washing extra good for Harry. I got dressed in a white shirt with a red cardigan, ripped blue jeans, and red vans. I sprayed a decent amount of cologne on me and put on deodorant, then fixed my hair and wrapped my tail around my leg. I walked out of the bathroom and grabbed my backpack and overnight bag and headed downstairs.
In the kitchen, mum had prepared French toast for breakfast. I set my bags down by the door then took a seat beside Nicola at the table. Mum set plates out in front of all of us then grabbed a bottle of syrup and put it in the middle of the table.
"What does everyone want to drink?" She asked, pulling glasses out of the kitchen cabinet. Nicola and Liam got orange juice, dad got coffee, and Ruth and I stuck with milk.
The French toast was amazing; one of the best breakfasts I had ever eaten. After breakfast, dad drove me and Liam to school. Liam walked me to my home room like always, and I was surprised to see Harry standing outside the door. Liam said a goodbye to Harry and I then went to his home room class.
"So you're probably wondering why I'm here waiting for you," Harry said with a bit of a laugh while I nodded. "Well... I figured I could put your bag in my locker again and let you know to meet me in the usual spot out front." He took my bag from me and placed it in his locker which was only a couple lockers down from the door to my class. I thanked him as he walked away to his classroom, then went into my own.
Bree was sitting in her seat, writing what looked liked an essay. She looked up from writing once she saw me sit down and smiled at me.
"What're you doing this weekend?" She asked, putting her pencil and paper into her backpack.
"I'm going to the lake with Harry," I told her, smiling as I thought about spending time with Harry.
"Styles?" I nodded, making her nod.
"He's cute," she commented. I nodded in agreement.
"You think he's cute?" She asked me making me realize what I had done.
Uh no... I-I...I uh..." I stuttered and stumbled over words trying to figure out how to respond. I wasn't ready for anyone to know that I liked guys... or Harry anyways.
"It's okay if you're... you know... into boys. I don't judge, Niall." I sighed and nodded, giving her a small smile.
"I haven't told anyone... besides my brother, Liam," I said to her. "I'm not sure if I'm... gay. The only boy I've ever had feelings for is Harry. But then again, I've also never had feelings for a girl." She bit on her bottom lip and nodded.
"Well... have fun, Ni." I smiled and nodded.
"I think I will."

I got to first period right after Harry and took my usual seat in front of him. I turned around and began talking to him about our plans for Saturday. Harry told me we were going to get up around nine and get ready to go and hopefully leave for the lake by ten. He said that it would be himself, me, his mum, Robin, his mum's boyfriend, and his sister, Gemma.
The bell rang soon and I noticed that Louis wasn't there. It was odd since Louis was always in class, at least that's what I thought.
"Louis didn't mention being sick," Harry told me. "But I wouldn't be surprised if he skipped. He said he was annoyed with his second period, I think, so he probably skipped." I nodded, listening for my name as Mr. Wilson took role.
