After waking up the next morning, Liam and I had taken showers and headed down to breakfast. I didn't get much, just a bowl of cereal in a small Styrofoam bowl and a blueberry muffin.

His sisters and parents came down shortly after and joined us.

"How'd you boys sleep?" Mr. Payne asked as he took a seat beside Ruth across from me and sat down a plate with two muffins and a some bacon.

"Really great, sir," I answered. Liam nodded in agreement.

"You don't have to call me sir," Mr. Payne told me. "If you'd like, you can refer to us as dad and mum." I smiled and nodded, considering calling them mum and dad. Myparents. Yeah, I should do that.

After eating, we left the hotel to get me an ID. It sort of took a while since mum had to go back out to the van and search for my information that the orphanage had given her.

Once we got my identification card, we went out for lunch at a small family-owned restaurant. Everything they served was homemade and quite delicious.

When we finished eating, we went back to the hotel and spent time up in mum and dad's room. They sat there asking me questions about myself such as, "What's your favourite colour?" And, "Do you like video games?"

By six that evening, we were all hungry again and decided to order pizza from Domino's, which dad agreed to go pick up. Mum had ended up ordering three large pizzas; two pepperoni and one meat-lovers.

While we ate, Liam told me about his friends back in their hometown. He said he had three really close friends named Louis, Zayn, and Harry.

"Harry just moved to London back in May," he said to me. "Harry's really great, but he gets a lot of rubbish for his sexuality."

Sexuality. The one thing in my life that confused me more than anything. I never tried to think too much about what gender I preferred because it usually resulted in me getting a headache. Honestly, it didn't really matter to me, gender and all, for I knew no one would ever be able to love me. I was a freaky hybrid creature.

"Oh. What's his sexuality?" That was probably a pretty stupid question.

"He says he's bisexual, but I've seen him swing more toward boys than girls. When he first moved here, he had a huge crush on Zayn. After learning Zayn was only into girls, Harry put aside his crush so that they could be friends."

Around eleven that night, Liam and I got in bed. Our flight to London was at three in the afternoon.

We made it to London around three forty the next evening. Liam called up his friends and asked them to come over and meet me. I was really excited to meet Liam's friends because from the way he described them, they sounded awesome.

His - our - parents went grocery shopping while we stayed home. Ruth and Nicola went to a friend's house to share their trip with them, so Liam and I were going to be alone with his friends for a bit once they arrived.

His friend, Harry, arrived first. Harry lived a few blocks down the road and lived closest to Liam. Looking at Harry made me feel like I was staring at a work of art. His hair was a beautiful chocolate brown set in perfect curls. His eyes were the prettiest shade of green to ever exist, and his tall, lanky figure was a gorgeous sight to see. I had never been so sure about my sexuality until that moment.

"Hello," Harry said, his voice strong and deep, "I'm Harry." He reached his hand out for me to shake, and my heartbeat quickened.

I nervously tightened my tail around my left leg and joined my hand with Harry's. His hand was soft and pleasant to touch.
