They said breif 'hellos' and I showed Sirius to his room, the one he would be sharing with James, Remus and Peter.
"They seem intense." Sirius said, I put my finger to my lips and then pointed to my ears and the floor.
"One second." I whispered.
I quickly did a privacy spell. "There. Now they can't hear us." I said smiling. "Lets go see the street festival." I suggested smiling, he nodded and I put the sage out.
We walked downstairs into the living room.
"We're going out to see the street festival." I called out.
All of a sudden Marcel was in front of us and I could see Sirius jump which made me smile.
"Alone?" He asked looking at me.
"What? Is there a new threat we're facing? Even then, I can take care of myself. And my... friends." I said.
"No, there is no threat. But I should at least send one of my vamps with you." He said.
"No! Why are you being like this?" I asked.
"Safety." He said.
"Rebekah!" I called out, and you could see his face change, at this I smirked.
"Yes Darlings?" She asked smiling at all of us.
"Tell your husband to let us go to the street festival. Without protection or being followed." I said crossing my arms.
"You kids go have fun. I'll busy Marcel. Davina is with Kol. Go on." She said pushing us out the door.
"Thank god." I said smiling and pulling Sirius with me.
We laughed and came across a band playing on the street.
"Dance with me." I said smiling.
"Okay." He said pulling me close, putting his right hand in my left, his left hand on my waist pulling me closer and my left hand on his right shoulder. We danced for a while laughing, smiling and talking. By the time we stopped dancing it was sunset so I pulled him along holding his hand, telling him about good childhood memories from here and slowly walking back to the compound. By then I had to reluctantly let go of his hand.
"Did you have fun?" Freya asked with a knowing smile.
I blushed and looked away. "Yes Freya we enjoyed the festival." I said giving her a glare. She just laughed and walked away.
"Davina!" I said running and hugging her.
"Hey." She said hugging back she then whispered; "later we are talking about this." She said smiling. And letting go. I pulled away and lead Sirius to the kitchen.
"What do you want to eat? There is..." I trailed off looking in the cupboards and fridge. "Nothing. Theres a bar and we can get takeout? Sound good?" I asked.
"Sure." He nodded smiling. I lead him to Rousseau's.
We walked in and it hasn't changed a bit.
"I spent half of my childhood here." I said taking a seat at the bar, he sat next to me and raised an eyebrow.
"In a bar?" He asked smiling.
"Not what you think." I said smiling.
"Really, so you didn't learn how to master drinking games?" He asked smirking.
"Oh, I have a very high alcohol tolerance. You know, being a tribrid and all." I said now being the one smirking. "But we can't because then we'd get in trouble and you might have to go home. So let's just get food, eat get back and I can show you some muggle movies." I suggested, he nodded and we both smiled.
"What do you want?" I asked.
"Double cheeseburger and fries." He said smiling.
I waved over the bartender and ordered; "two double cheeseburgers and a lagre fries for two. Put it on the Mikaelson tab." I said smiling at him. The bartender nodded and went away.
"You should've let me pay for mine." Sirius said looking at me.
"1. Your money can't buy anything in the muggle world. 2. We already have a high tab here from my family so it doesn't matter. Honestly Sirius." I told him smiling.
"Hope?" I heard a familiar voice say behind me I turned and smiled.
"Josh!" I greeted going over and hugging him.
"Josh this is Sirius. Sirius this is Josh, gay best friend." I said introducing them. Josh nodded smile never faltering. And once Sirius learned he was gay he smiled and shook hands.
"Ooh foods ready." I said looking at the food that was put in front of Sirius. I dat down next to him and started eating the fries. "You're welcome to join Josh." I said to him.
"No, I'll let you and lover boy eat." He said smirking.
"Josh-" I started.
"Don't worry, Kol or Marcel won't find out from me." He said walking away.
"Your the best Josh!" I called out.
Sirius started laughing so I threw a fry at him.
"What are you laughing at?" I asked starting to laugh too and throw more fries at him some he caught with his mouth.
"Your a dork." I said to him.
"But I'm your dork." He told me leaning in.
"Mhm." I said and giving him a quick kiss before starting to eat my burger.
He smiled at me and started on his burger too.
We finished eating before heading back to the compound.
"I'm gonna head to bed. See you tomorrow." Sirius said to me and said his 'good nights' to everyone else. I headed up to bed, got changed into pajamas and sat on my bed in my laptop looking for good movies to show Sirius when there was a knock on my door.
"Come in!" I called.
And in came Davina, Freya and Rebekah. They jumped on my bed and we all laughed.
Freya did a privacy spell and then the questions came.
"So, when did you and Mr. Leather jacket start dating?" Davina asked.
"Is it that obvious?" I asked.
"To everyone except Kol and Marcel." Rebekah said.
I sighed and told them what they wanted to know. "About a month after Freya astral projected and caught us kissing. Not even my friends know."
