"Yeah, it's the town next to Hogwarts. Just get a guardian to sign it, give it to McGonagall on the day and come with us. Or Sirius." She said the last part to sign it.
I looked at the date and it was the 3rd of November. Damn it!
"Sirius' birthday." I said to her.
"Yeah." She said then frowned at my frown. "Is that a problem?" She asked.
"Is what a problem?" I heard Lily ask, I looked up at her and smiled.
"Oh just you not admitting to anyone, including yourself that you like James." I told her with a smirk and that made her go quiet.
An hour later and there I sat, on the floor in front of the fire thinking when someone sat next to me and put their head in my lap, I looked down to see Sirius and I smiled.
"You know, whether you listen or not, your the talk of the 4th year girls in the castle." Sirius said smirking.
"Oh yeah? And why's that?" I asked.
"Because their jealous." He said.
"Of course they are. I'm smarter, I'm prettier and I've got you." I said smirking.
And we both laughed.
"Sirius, what are you doing for your birthday?" I asked.
"My plans were to got to Hogsmede with you and the boys. Why are we changing them?" He asked smirking when he saw my heart melt through my eyes.
"Not unless you don't want to. I can give you your present Saturday." I told him playing with his hair.
"No, we celebrate my birthday, and me and the guys will do it Saturday. The permission slip says for the weekend." He told me.
"Okay. Sirius that means no detention Friday." I told him seriously.
"Okay okay." He said laughing and got me to join in too.
Halloween:
It was Halloween day and I was helping James decorate the common room in the morning because we are the only ones in our friend group besides Lily, who wasn't helping because she was studying, that takes it seriously.
So that is why I'm standing on a ladder, in my pajama's (one of my father's Henley shirts' with the sleeves rolled up, top couple of buttons undone, and a pair of three quarter yoga pants and ankle socks), that I conjured hanging up fake spider webs when I heard someone behind me, I briefly looked to see Sirius leaning on the doorframe with crossed arms, I don't think he realized I noticed him so I smirked.
"Enjoying the view?" I asked smiling.
"Very much, James has a nice backside." He said sarcastically and all of us, including Lily in the corner, laughed.
I just laughed while putting tiny spiders in the fake spider webs.
"Lily what do you think?" I asked looking at her resting my arms on the top of the ladder and she blushed a deep red.
She cleared her throat the said, "Think about what?" She asked while her voice cracked in the middle.
"The decorations. What did you think I was talking about?" I asked laughing.
"I'm going to get you for that. But the decorations look great." She said glaring at me.
"Great." I said while dragging the ladder to a different corner with the spiders and fake spider webs.
"Get Hope for what?" James asked.
I smirked and opened my mouth to answer but Lily beat me to it. "Nothing. Inside joke." She said glaring at me once more.
"Oh you know you love me." I said climbing back up the ladder and going back to hanging spiders.
"Unfortunately yes, your one of my best friends." She said.
